- Nickname
- The Little Sisters of the Allman Brothers
- High on-stage energy
- Rebecca Lovell and Megan Lovell were previously in a trio called Lovell Sisters, which consisted of them and their oldest sister Jessica. The band was formed in 2005, but due to Jessica's personal commitments, the band disbanded in 2010. Larkin Poe was formed by Rebecca and Megan the same year.
- The band was named after their great-great-great grandfather Larkin Poe, who was a cousin of legendary writer Edgar Allan Poe.
- They wrote the song "Mad as a Hatter" as a tribute to their late grandfather, who suffered from dementia. Although they never recorded a studio version, they played it live at several concerts. Not only is it the band's most watched song on YouTube, but also one of the most demanded among fans.
- They are identifying themselves as a touring band. Each year, they are spending much of their time travelling across the USA and Europe to perform on many events and their own concerts.
