Yancheng's journey in sound editing began in 2014. He left the beautiful field and came to noisy Beijing to pursue his dream in telling stories with sound. Over the years, he has gained expertise in various departments, starting from dialogue editing and SFX editing to sound design and sound mixing, working on a diverse range of independent and commercial projects, including theatrical released films, commercials, Television series as well as shorts. One of his notable achievements was sound design work for "Detective Chinatown", which became the highest-grossing film series in Chinese box office history.
Yancheng is also a shareholder at Beijing Shang Jin Sound Studio. His portfolio includes sound design works, such as "The Sewing Machine Band," "Some like it hot" "Model" "The Reunions" and "back to the wharf." With his talent for leaving an indelible mark on various story genre, Yancheng possesses the ability to elevate any narrative from raw footage to the screen. He is currently based in Beijing, and his sound work portrays diverse worldviews, reaching a global audience.
