Davide Rabacchin - ESTE, 1974 - is an Italian film director and producer. He graduated in Philosophy of science at the University of Bologna with a Master degree in Film Production at the University of Rome La Sapienza. His projects, co-produced with the support of RAI CINEMA, Istituto Luce Cinecittà and others, have been in competition in the most important European film festival, starting from CPH:DOX, Cinema Du Réel, BFI London,DOC Lisboa, Sheffield Film Festival.
In 2021, he directed The fountain of life, an experimental short movie selected at the 39° Torino Film Festival. In the same year, Rabacchin produced "Princesa", directed by Stefania Muresu, in competition at the 78° Mostra Internazionale d'arte cinematografica di Venezia. In 2019 he directed the movie "How I came here", focused on the migrant route in the Balkans shown at the The National Museum of XXI Century Arts - MAXXI - in Rome. In 2016 he produced "Terra sem males" directed by Enrico Masi, World Premiere al Sao Paulo Entre Todos Festival de Direitos Humanos, and in competition at the Pesaro Film Festival.
