Zack Snyder is now free of the weight of creating an expansive Dceu and had been doing his own thing for the past couple of years. While the director does not seem to be keen to enter the realm of big studio films anytime soon, Snyder fans would love to see him direct a Marvel flick sometime soon. His unique directorial style, understanding of complex action and emotional depth, and ability to draw out great performances from his cast make him a compelling choice for the job.

While that might not be possible anytime soon, Snyder’s past comments about Hulk do make him a good choice to direct a standalone Hulk movie in the future.

Hollywood is filled with unique casting stories but it looks like comedian Bill Burr takes the cake on this one. From making fun of Star Wars during his stand-up performances to playing Migs Mayfeld in The Mandalorian, Bill Burr came a long way. But the question is, why would Star Wars want to cast a man who has been making fun of their extremely popular franchise?
Bill Burr as Migs Mayfeld in The Mandalorian
Well, that is exactly why. During a recent interview, Bill Burr revealed that The Mandalorian’s creator Jon Favreau found his jokes on the franchise so hilarious that he decided to cast him in the series. Recalling his conversation with Jon Favreau, Bill Burr gives an insight into the conversation he had with the filmmaker before getting cast as Migs Mayfeld.

The debate for who should play the next James Bond, now that Daniel Craig has moved on, has taken on a new life. MGM is yet to reveal who will be taking up the mantle of 007, with various factions in the industry championing their heirs to the GoldenEye throne. While there have been a lot of fans who would love to see Henry Cavill play the role, Chris Evans has come up with his own choice for who he would like to see as James Bond in the future.
Chris Evans in Avengers Infinity War
Speaking to Wired with his Knives Out co-star Ana de Armas, Chris Evans brought up who he would like to see as the next James Bond, while Ana de Armas was answering a question about her being a Bong girl. de Armas also provided her choice for the role of 007 while the discussion was on.

For over 30 years, Mark Hamill voiced DC’s Clown Prince of Crime in varied endeavors, starting from the very beloved Batman: The Animated Series. Although the likelihood of the Star Wars actor ever returning to the role is minimal in light of Kevin Conroy’s passing, there’s one person to thank behind his iteration of the Batman arch-nemesis coming into existence in the first place.
And funnily enough, it almost seems fateful that it was none other than Michael Keaton, one of the actors who embodied The Caped Crusader in live-action films, albeit to initial flak.

So far, 2024 has seen everything from a cult favorite sci-fi comedy to a forgotten Alexander Skarsgård and Margot Robbie film hitting the Netflix Top 10 charts. Frankly, it was nice to see something other than Kevin Hart's "Lift" in the charts, as this most recent effort from the standup star seems to be the latest in an endless supply of middling streaming movies that somehow come to dominate Netflix's most-watched rankings. Thankfully, Hart has now departed the charts to make way for more popular films and TV on Netflix, and this month there's a particular Canadian franchise that's managed to capture viewers' attention.

In the vast landscape of cinema, actors are often left to be identified with one or the other of their roles. Mark Hamill, however, has had the opportunity to portray several of our favorite characters who would not feel as magical or glorious without the actor today. While most identify him for portraying the remarkable Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy, the actor is equally known for voicing the infamous villain of DC mythos, Joker.

Over the years, the actor has lent his voice countless times to the character, as have many other actors, but it is his iconic Joker laugh that fans have loved. But Hamill’s Joker laugh is not a simple cup of tea.

It has been a week since Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series premiered. The fans had mixed feelings about the series, especially after the last live-action film failed horribly. But with the rising popularity of live-action series, there was hope that Netflix would bring out the best. Fortunately, everyone loved the series, and it is fair to say that people have no more doubts.
After becoming popular worldwide, the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender has been going around and doing interviews and questionnaires. During one such questionnaire, Fire Prince Zuko actor Dallas James Liu mentioned one character who would always be one step ahead of Zuko. The mentioned character is Uncle Iroh. There is no way Zuko could defeat him since he is too powerful.

It seems that the fate of the universe has once again brought Star Wars actor Mark Hamill face-to-face with Kevin Conroy’s Batman albeit for one…last…time. With Kevin Conroy becoming a legend by voicing Batman, Mark Hamill’s Joker also became quite famous.
With the death of Conroy, the Star Wars actor revealed that he too would give up voicing the character of The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series. As fate would have it, the late voice actor’s Batman will be shown on the screen once more and Mark Hamill’s Joker will be there to face him.

A mastermind who never ceases to channel his feelings with utmost perfection, the Spanish actor has bagged one too many critically commended roles in blockbuster masterpieces.

Mark Hamill is one of the most popular actors of this generation as he portrayed the role of Luke Skywalker in the evergreen franchise Star Wars. However, following his massive success and popularity in the first three Star Wars films, he opted to do voice work, which led to his other significant works like Castle In The Sky, A Fuller Life, and Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker. But his most renowned work was in the three seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender, where he voiced Fire Lord Ozai.

After the release of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two got pushed to March 15, 2024, fans of Frank Herbert’s spice-infused sci-fi series have been eager for more details about the upcoming sequel. While I don’t have any fresh information about the sequel’s release, fascinating factoids about David Lynch’s 1984 adaptation are making the rounds. In a lengthy article published by Wired, the outlet returns to 1984 for the turbulent Dune promotional tour and all the hostile vibes that come with it.
With a significant rollout planned for Lynch’s version, Dune booked 1,700 screens worldwide and four gala premieres in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Miami, and London. According to Wired, the December 4 DC premiere resulted in Dune author Frank Herbert and David Lynch getting invited to the White House for dinner with President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan. Frank Oz is a man of many memorable voices. As Jim Henson's closest collaborator and most trusted Muppeteer, Oz helped shape our childhoods by providing the voices of, among others, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Bert, Grover, Animal, and Cookie Monster. What's perhaps most amazing about his work is how, when you hear him speak in his own voice, you can close your eyes and hear notes of just about every character he originated. He was every bit as virtuosic as Henson in this regard, but it's possible he went on to do his most indelible work outside of his partner's workshop.

In most cases, for most actors, typecasting can be a curse, a trap to be avoided. This is understandable, especially for actors who have either been trained on stage or have a natural affinity for character parts and don't wish to keep playing the same type of role over and over again.
Yet typecasting can also be a boon for an actor in many ways. For one thing, it can be a sort of job security, particularly within television or franchise filmmaking, as the "sell" of the actor in a role is more or less already done for them by their successful past work. For another, it allows the actor a sort of safety net, a proven track record that they can fall back on. Thus, they can feel free to take risks, knowing they already have an established screen persona.

It's difficult to fully encapsulate how strong the influence of "Stranger Things" has been on pop culture. Last season's inclusion of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" skyrocketed the nearly 40-year-old song to the top 10 on the Billboard charts, and in-universe pop culture references are often given a new lease on life after appearing on the popular show. The show has made reference to "Dungeons & Dragons" since the very beginning, but search results for the tabletop roleplaying game increased by 600 after the introduction of The Hellfire Club in season 4.
