- Ernestina Herrera de Noble was born in 1925. Ernestina died on June 14, 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
- Publisher of Argentina's "Clarin" newspaper. Taking over the paper when her husband died in 1969, she acquired a string of newspapers, magazines and radio and TV stations to build Grupo Clarin into one of Latin America's biggest media conglomerates. Incurred the wrath of Argentine President Christina Fernandez when she criticized her government for raising farm export taxes, causing riots and revolts by farmers until the extra taxes were canceled. Soon afterwards the government tried to break up Grupo Clarin by passing laws restricting media ownership.
