Daniella was awarded a BAFTA scholarship in 2016, to attend the prestigious National Film and Television School, to study for a Postgraduate Diploma in Production Sound for Film and Television, and was also the first ever AMPS Scholar that same year- she graduated at the end of 2017, and went on to be part of the Sara Putt trainee scheme the following year, and was chosen to be part of BAFTA Crew from 2019-2020.
She started off her sound career, shadowing on King Lear with Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson, and In The Long Run with Idris Elba and Bill Bailey, being taught by the best in sound, fisher booming with those that did Black Books and Blackadder, and learning from Simon Clark, Merv Gerrard, Russell Edwards, Clive Derbyshire, and Ian Sands. Her first non NFTS production she recorded, was in Chinon, France with Gus Unger Hamilton from Alt J, and Luke Pritchard from The Kooks, directed by Nat Jenkins, a most memorable and favourite production. She's since worked on commercials, charity projects, short films, low budget tv series and all that she can experience, with BAFTA winners such as Aimee Lou Wood and Bukky Bakray, and other amazing people like Charlotte Ritchie and Jade Anouka.
Prior to this, Daniella has studied British Sign Language levels 1,2, and pre level 3; Exploring the English Language: Medieval to Modern; stunt driving; Graphic Design; Film Production; Reiki; Avid; Pro Tools; she attended the Floor Runners Bootcamp; got into the University of Cambridge Mature Students Summer School; and has various certificates in Covid, Health and Safety, Fire Awareness, Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Manual Handling, Chemical Competence, Food Health and Safety, Unconscious Bias in the workplace, Bullying and Harassment in the workplace, and working with children. She has also worked in several roles as a roller derby NSO, Elf, bar tender and team leader, customer assistant, farm labourer, pumpkin picker, editor and motion graphics, technical crew, runner/driver, floor runner, camera operator, and a volunteer data research assistant for a childrens charity.
Daniella plays the drums, she loves to dance, her favourite colour is green, she wants to live with bears in the wild, see a volcano erupt in person, see a tornado up close, she loves trees, hates injustice, and would love a flying broomstick. Gemini, ENFP, spiritual, and most importantly a Mama Bear.
