When Ivar’s tag team partner in the Viking Raiders went down with an injury, he could have easily faded away into obscurity. Instead, the beefy big man has turned heads with some strong matches on not only WWE Raw but on Nxt as well. An argument can be made that the 40-year-old is among the most underrated talents on the roster today. Win or lose, Ivar has been able to make every battle memorable against everyone from Sheamus to Ricochet to emerging talent like Oba Femi. We caught up with the multi-faceted athlete to talk about returning to his roots in the ring. How was it making the transition to the singles ranks? Ivar: At first, it happened organically. Erik got pulled from the competition on Monday Night Raw. We had 2 out of 3 falls scheduled with New Day. He got pulled, and it ended up being a singles match between me and Kofi Kingston.

Fresh off his win at WrestleMania 40, WWE star Damian Priest has signed with Paradigm for representation in all areas, Variety has learned exclusively.
Paradigm will work to build his business across books, acting, marketing, unscripted and more. Priest, who was born Luis Berrios (Martinez), most recently won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship during Night 2 of WrestleMania 40 by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract against Drew McIntire, who himself had just won the championship from Seth Rollins.
Priest was born in New York but raised in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico until he was 11. It was there he developed an interest in professional wrestling and martial arts. He began his career on the independent circuit, including a sting in Ring of Honor.

As of this writing, there have been well over 400 WrestleMania matches since the event began back in 1985. Since then, countless WWE wrestlers (and even a couple celebrities) have battled it out in so many different ways and with quality that runs the gamut from unwatchable to undeniable. In what is supposed to be WWE’s biggest annual show, some matches fall short, but others rise to the occasion and put together some unforgettable performances.
But today we’re celebrating the very best matches WrestleMania has ever offered wrestling fans. But first, some ground rules. First, as there are so many WrestleManias to cover, we are only going to allow one entry per event. The modern shows with two nights of festivities will only count as one combined event. Second, to keep things from becoming repetitive, there will be no match redundancies. If two wrestlers battled it out in multiple WrestleManias,...

Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, is on the verge of making a comeback to the wrestling world. His match with The American Nightmare, also known as Cody Rhodes, has certainly attracted a lot of attention towards WrestleMania 40.
Produced by WWE, WrestleMania 40 is the upcoming professional wrestling event which will be held two nights- April 6 and April 7. Match #1: Austin Theory def. LA Knight The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Austin Theory became the No. 1 Contender to the United States Championship after The Miz showed up to Friday Night SmackDown and cost LA Knight the match. Knight was on a mission to prove a point, especially with The Miz at ringside, as he bashed Theory’s face on the announce table right in front of The A-Lister. Sick and tired of Knight’s success, The Miz hopped off of commentary, and his distraction allowed Theory to roll up Knight and win the match, securing his championship opportunity.

Cowabunga, dudes! With a new Turtle-tastic adventure in our midst with "Mutant Mayhem," it's time to walk down memory lane and see how the surprisingly extensive "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" cinematic canon stacks up. Read on, for our totally tubular and definitive ranking may surprise even the most ardent "Tmnt" fans.
Created in 1984 by comic book artists Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, the Turtles have become a staple in pop culture and one of the most enduring media franchises across films, television, toys, and video games. They've inspired rap songs, Halloween costumes, and even thousands of dollars in collectors' auctions. It's hard not to be charmed by the hilarious banter from leader Leonardo, tech-wiz Donatello, cool-but-crude Raphael, and party dude Michelangelo, but how has such a confounding concept endured this long?
Well, no matter how malleable the characters are, the series always remains a story about family, brotherhood, and good triumphing over evil.

Match #1: Fatal Four-Way – Rey Mysterio def. LA Knight, Sheamus and Cameron Grime The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
For a chance to face Santos Escobar in the final of the United States Title Invitational Tournament, LA Knight, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus and Cameron Grimes took part in a Fatal 4-Way Match. The pace was frenetic with all four Superstars pulling out the stops with the two veterans in Sheamus and Rey Mysterio hitting Knight and Grimes with the 10 Beats of the Bodhran. In a wild moment, all four Superstars came crashing down to Earth in a jaw-dropping Tower of Doom catastrophe. In the closing stages, Mysterio sent Grimes straight near where Austin Theory was sitting, which enraged the U.S.

Match #1: Pretty Deadly def. Sheamus & Ridge Holland The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Sheamus and his cohort Ridge Holland were out for payback after Pretty Deadly cost The Celtic Warrior a chance to win the United States Title in his match against Austin Theory. The Brawling Brutes failed to achieve victory, however. Although Sheamus Brogue Kicked Kit Wilson out of the ring, Elton Prince quickly dumped him out as well. With the official focused elsewhere, Prince removed the turnbuckle padding. Unaware, Holland charged right into the exposed steel and paved the way for Elton to follow up with a leg drop off the top rope for the underhanded victory.

It was Fight Night x 5 to kick off SmackDown, as a No. 1 Contenders’ Gauntlet Match put an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title opportunity on the line. The Brawling Brutes got things rolling, as a quick tag teed up Sheamus for a decisive Brogue Kick set the tone with a defeat of The Street Profits. The O.C. stormed the ring with fury, but when Karl Anderson let down his guard, The Celtic Warrior connected with the second victorious Brogue Kick in a row. Match #1: Austin Theory & Pretty Deadly def. The Brawling Brutes The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Brawling Brutes left SmackDown in a fit of rage after the team of United States Champion & Pretty Deadly outsmarted and defeated them in six-man tag team action. Sheamus seemingly had the match won after a devastating Brogue Kick to Theory, but Pretty Deadly snatched the United States Champion out of the ring before the referee could finish his three count. Later on, Ridge Holland was in position to win the match, but when the referee had his back turned, Elton Prince & Kit Wilson wisely switched places and the confusion allowed them to hit Spilled Milk and stun the Brutes.

WWE’s WrestleMania 39 delivered the highest weekend usage ever on Peacock. The two-night event was up 29% in hours viewed and 32% in reach compared to last year’s WrestleMania, Peacock announced Tuesday.
The NBCUniversal-owned streamer also claims that WrestleMania 39 generated the most hours-watched of any live event on Peacock with the exception of the Super Bowl. It should be noted that, like other streaming services, Peacock does not provide specific viewership information to back up these claims.
On linear television, the episode of “Monday Night Raw” that aired on USA Network the day after the final night of WrestleMania saw a significant boost in the ratings. This week’s episode nabbed 997,000 viewers in the key adults 18-49 demographic, the highest demo audience for “Raw” since February 2020 and up 37% from last week. In total viewers, the episode averaged 2.26 million viewers, up 23% over last week.
WrestleMania 39 took place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Match #1: Cody Rhodes def. Ludwig Kaiser The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
One week before The American Nightmare squares off with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, Cody Rhodes had his first match on SmackDown in over seven years. Rhodes took it to Ludwig Kaiser before Paul Heyman came down to the ramp to take a closer look. A missed Cody Cutter from Rhodes set the stage for Kaiser to wear down The American Nightmare. A Disaster Kick got Rhodes back into the proceedings just as Solo Sikoa made his way down to the ring. Rhodes essentially had to fight three people, as with Giovanni Vinci caused mayhem at ringside, and Sikoa constantly looked ready to pounce. A Cody...

Match #1: Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley def. Santos Escobar & Zelina Vega The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
When order broke down in the Mixed Tag Team Match and Santos Escobar was taken out of action, Zelina Vega knocked Dominik Mysterio out of the squared circle. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of turning her back on Rhea Ripley, who hit her opponent with Riptide for the victory. After the bell, Dominik began to once more trash talk his dad. In response, Rey Mysterio interrupted Dominik with some emotional words as he made it clear he will never fight his son at WrestleMania or anywhere else.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez def. Tegan Nox & Emma The following is courtesy of wwe.
