It’s been eight years since Ludacris released his last solo album, and while he’s dropped some singles and features since then, the rapper appears ready to make a full return to music next year.
In a new interview with BET, Luda said, “Some music projects will be coming out” in 2024, though he declined to say what form they would take. “I don’t wanna fake, I don’t wanna stutter-step. I don’t wanna be like [André] 3000 and say, I got an album coming out. I don’t know.

Inna Korobkina played the pregnant woman Luda in director Zack Snyder’s 2004 remake of the George A. Romero classic Dawn of the Dead (watch the Snyder version Here) – the character who gave birth to a zombie baby in one of the most popular and disturbing scenes in the film. Nineteen years later, Korobkina has launched a podcast called Rise Up & Fix It, which she hosts with her producing partner Ingrid J. Monday.
Korobkina is described as being “a granola eating, tree hugging mom of two”, while Rise Up & Fix It is said to center on “spirituality, creativity, and female empowerment.” Listeners are invited to join Korobkina and Monday as they “delve into the power of female creativity and modern feminism.”
The first episode of the weekly podcast was released on June 30th. Season 1 of the show is now available on all platforms and features the hosts “sharing stories and lessons from their own creative journeys,...

It’s nearly golden hour and, with pints of Stella Artois sitting on their table, Ludacris is sitting down for dinner with Matt Damon and Zoe Saldana, hopping on the phone to call up The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White. “If you could invite anyone to dinner, who would it be?” Luda asks. While it might sound like a scene straight out of a movie, it’s actually...

In November 2001, Ludacris was set to release his third album, “Word of Mouf.” At the same time, however, his debut on film, “The Wash,” was also about to hit theaters. Luda’s role in the DJ Pooh-directed comedy starring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg was small. But “The Wash,” along with his goofball antics in several of his music videos, put Luda in front of major league filmmakers such as the late John Singleton and Paul Haggis. In back-to-back films, the rapper became a movie star as Tej Parker in 2003’s “2 Fast 2 Furious,” followed in 2004 by the Oscar-winning “Crash.” Some 30 more movies would follow.
“The theatricality of my videos, my image — it was a bit of transition, going into acting, playing myself playing the Ludacris persona,” says Luda, credited in film as Chris Bridges. “But ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’ was a great way to start, because the year after was when ‘Crash’ came along.
