Diddy also adopted Quincy Brown, who is Porter’s son from her relationship with Al B. Sure!.

After revealing behind the scenes details about how he helped bring an all-star group of musicians together to make the Grammy-winning smash hit charity single “We Are the World” in the Netflix documentary “The Greatest Night in Pop,” Lionel Richie recently spoke to IndieWire about which of the participants he knows have watched the movie, and are still reeling from the down-to-the-wire recording session.
“Huey Lewis sat next to me while I’m watching the premiere, and he leaned over to me, and he said, ‘I don’t think we’re going to make it,’” the “American Idol” judge said at an event celebrating the reveal of the current season’s Top 10 finalists. “I said, ‘Huey, it’s 39 years ago. Bleach fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Ichigo in Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, which has become a worldwide mega-hit. While the substitute shinigami made a smashing entrance in the first episode of the anime, the subsequent episodes have been focusing more on the Gotei 13 and the overarching villain of the series.
Yhwach, the Father of the Quincy, has successfully created a deep-seated fear of him in the minds of soul reapers. In every appearance, he gets more and more sinister. Going as far as wanting to destroy the Soul Society, so he can rule the three worlds.
So is it really a surprise to know that Yhwach is the most vocal character in Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War?
Which character has the most dialogue in Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War?
In an interview with Viz Media, Tite Kubo confessed that Yhwach has the most lines in Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War.

Michael Jackson‘s “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” isn’t a spooky song like “Thriller,” but it still made Quincy Jones nervous. One of Jackson’s collaborators explained why. She also said the King of Pop was not who the media portrayed him to be.
Michael Jackson’s ‘I Just Can’t Stop Loving You’ has a connection to ‘Man in the Mirror’
Siedah Garrett is a singer who will always be mentioned in the same breath as the King of Pop. Her two most famous songs are from Jackson’s album Bad. One is “Man in the Mirror,” which she co-wrote. The other is the pop ballad “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” a duet between her and the “Thriller” star.
While “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” seems innocuous, Garrett told Blue Railroad that Jones had an issue with it. “Quincy said he listened...

Lionel Richie has been very emotional lately, but he wants to reassure everyone that he’s okay.
According to Richie, it’s just been a heady experience to look back nearly 40 years and relive all the wondrous and chaotic memories of writing and recording “We Are the World” for the new Netflix documentary “The Greatest Night in Pop.”
“Every segment of this journey, I cry,” Richie said at the Variety Studio presented by Audible at Sundance Film Festival, where the film made its world premiere. “It just brings tears to my eyes because some of us are not here anymore. Also it was our innocence. We actually were making a difference, so to see the naive version of ourselves, when we actually had an aha moment that we might take all this celebrity and change the world … I’m just emotional about it because I get to watch my kid being born again.

As a global pop culture event, it’s hard to match the release of “We Are the World,” the charity single that sold more than 20 million copies in 1985 and united 46 musical stars as enormous and disparate as Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Diana Ross at an all-night secret recording session. The story of that night — the scrambling, the egos, the moments of creative kismet — is now told in Bao Nguyen’s documentary The Greatest Night in Pop, which will premiere Jan. 19 at Sundance before streaming on Netflix beginning Jan. 29.
“When I heard how they assembled the team, to me it was almost like a heist film,” says Nguyen, who directed the 2020 Bruce Lee documentary Be Water. “You have Quincy Jones as the Danny Ocean of the whole effort. While Ichigo is training, the rest of his Soul Society comrades are having to fight their Quincy opponents without their Bankai, which had, surprisingly, been stolen by their adversaries. In the meantime, Urahara is searching for a way for them to get their Bankai back, while Kurotsuchi is doing his own experiments on how to counter some of the most fearful techniques of their opponents. Yhwach, on the other hand, is searching for a way to invade the Soul Palace, while Ishida is being promoted within the ranks of the Quincy. As the episodes pass, more new foes are introduced, while the majority of the major characters of the previous seasons also make an appearance.

In Steven Spielberg’s 1985 feature adaptation of The Color Purple, the characters of Celie and Shug share a chaste kiss, but not much else hints at the love affair that was integral to author Alice Walker’s novel on which the movie was based.
Blitz Bazawule’s new musical adaption of The Color Purple, released on Christmas Day, changes that, as Shug (Taraji P. Henson) and Celie (Fantasia Barrino) share more than a kiss, with the film making it clear the pair share a friendship as well as a romance.
Walker is overjoyed that Shug and Celie’s relationship is finally depicted as she intended. “I really love it that [audiences] have to take away the reality that Shug and Celie become lovers, because I think that we have really needed help there. We really needed to see that love is love. You know, that people love whoever they love, and...

In HBO’s “Winning Time,” Quincy Isaiah took on the “large task” of portraying Earvin “Magic” Johnson Jr. — often regarded as one of the greatest point guards of all time after helping the Lakers win five NBA championships across 13 seasons.
“I think being able to make it smaller, in terms of playing this person who just won a championship and who’s just dealing with life issues, I think that’s the way that I have to frame it… really taking this giant of a person and making him relatable to everyday people,” Isaiah told TheWrap. “The way that we are able to do that is with a great script and a great cast, but also just leaning into the humanity of these emotions that you see in Season 2.”

Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers for the Season 2 premiere of “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty,” now streaming on Max.
The Los Angeles Lakers are on top of the world at the start of “Winning Time” Season 2. It doesn’t take long before they find themselves back on their asses.
After taking down the Philadelphia 76ers to win the 1980 NBA Finals, it’s no surprise that a championship would inflate some egos in Inglewood. Basking in the glow of a city’s adoration, Magic Johnson (Quincy Isaiah) finds himself a media darling, fielding fawning reporters that regularly overrun the Lakers locker room. It’s enough hot air to irk Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Solomon Hughes) — who also hasn’t shaken the awkward disappointment of suffering a sprained ankle during the Finals. The team’s de facto leader watched from home as Johnson took over his position at center to clinch the championship.

Steven Soderbergh’s Max series “Full Circle” throws its viewers into a tangled web of moral ambiguity faced by a slew of characters, including Jharrel Jerome’s Aked, a young man whose familial obligation tasks him with kidnapping a teenage boy.
The series, the first four episodes of which are now streaming on Max, parses together bits and pieces of a revenge kidnapping plot orchestrated by Guyanese matriarch Savitri Mahabir (Cch Pounder) — which goes sideways under the watch of her nephew, Aked, when the group picks up the wrong kid — and again when Aked’s girlfriend and her brother, attempt to save him.
With the reasoning for the kidnapping — and its subsequent botching — kept hidden from Aked, Jerome only read through the script for the six-episode limited series once and promised not to do so again.

What makes a sex scene sexy? More to the point, what makes a sex scene good? That’s become an especially thorny question in recent years, with detailed accounts of what goes on behind the scenes of movies we love complicating our relationship with their most memorable moments. And though we’re ever so slowly moving away from the male gaze serving as the default perspective on love, sex, and everything between, there’s still a long way to go.
That is, if sex scenes still appear in movies at all. They do, but with greater infrequency, certainly in Hollywood studio productions. Though many think-pieces have been written about “the death of the sex scene” there’s still been a lot to celebrate over the last 23 years. A number of sex-positive, LGBTQ-friendly, and otherwise forward-thinking filmmakers have directed scenes that are as steamy as they are moving. There’s nothing...
