- He has passed an intensive acting course at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop.
- His inspiration for becoming an movie actor was Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker in "The Dark Knight".
- A week before his exams for National School of Fine Arts "Ilia Petrov" he broke his right wrist. (Marin is right-handed) He had to draw with a broken wrist in gypsum. No matter what he gave everything he had and was accepted into top 10. He graduated Illustration with full scholarship and won a number of exhibitions in and out of Bulgaria.
- Marin Rangelov took part in dubbing into Bulgarian "Incredibles 2" (2018), "Ralph Breaks the Internet" (2018) and Pokémon Detective Pikachu (2019).
- The Bulgarian theatre play "Hushove" by Ivan Vazov, Dir. Aleksandr Morfov was the inspiration for Marin to become a stage actor.
- Training Karate since he was a child. At his first Karate Championship he won the gold.
- As a hobby he loves scuba diving and skiing.
- Playing tennis since he was 10. Big fan of the best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov.
- Obsessed with Broadway shows. In the summer of 2019 while he was living in New York City he watched 18 shows. Hadestown is his favorite show.
- On 8/20/19 Marin went to watch #DateMe Off-Broadway Show and by coincidence or not he was picked up from the audience to act on the stage with the actors. That's his first Off-Broadway appearance.
