He's fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese & Shanghainese.- Bearing a strong resemblance to Humphrey Bogart certainly helped in typecasting the handsome, hairy-chested Gerald Mohr into "B" film noir. Born in New York City in 1914, he was the son of Sigmond Mohr and Henrietta Noustadt, a Viennese singer. In 1920 his father was killed in a tragic accident while at work when Mohr was five years old, and he was raised primarily by his mother and maternal grandfather, who was a psychologist and associate of Dr. Sigmund Freud, the famed psychoanalyst. Mohr became a fervent student of Freud as a result of this association. He was taught to ride and play piano at an early age and attended the prestigious Dwight Preparatory School in New York. Even as a teen, Mohr possessed a smooth vocal delivery and landed a job as a staff broadcaster for CBS Radio, which in turn opened the door for him to Orson Welles and his Mercury Theatre. Mohr made his Broadway debut in the minor role of a gangster in "The Petrified Forest," the same play that put Bogart on the map.
His first starring role in films came with the serial Jungle Girl (1941), in which he played principal villain Slick Latimer. However, because of his pleasant, distinctive baritone voice, it was radio that became Mohr's meal ticket during the 1940s, and he signed on for a number of popular suspense thrillers such as "The Adventures of Philip Marlowe" and "The Whistler." In 1949, "Radio and Television Life" magazine named Mohr as the Best Male Actor on Radio.
After a number of bit parts, he finally won a noticeable role in Lady of Burlesque (1943) with Barbara Stanwyck, after Welles referred him to the film's director, William A. Wellman. Following WWII service with the Air Force, Mohr returned to acting and found his niche in intrigue, playing the title role in The Notorious Lone Wolf (1946) and its two sequels, along with Passkey to Danger (1946), Dangerous Business (1946) and The Truth About Murder (1946). As much as he wanted to extricate himself from this trenchcoat stereotype, he continued to chug along in the 1950s with the same type of roles represented by The Sniper (1952), Invasion, U.S.A. (1952) and Guns Girls and Gangsters (1959). His final leads were in This Rebel Breed (1960) and the low-grade sci-fi thriller The Angry Red Planet (1959). In 1954-55 he starred as Christopher Storm in 41 episodes of the Swedish-made TV series Foreign Intrigue (1951).
Finding film work scarce in the following decade, he found regular work on TV, guest starring in over 100 dramas, ranging from TV westerns like Maverick (1957), Bronco (1958), Cheyenne (1955) and Bonanza (1959) to action/courtroom series such as 77 Sunset Strip (1958), Hawaiian Eye (1959) and Perry Mason (1957), among many others.
His last movie role came in the top-notch musical Funny Girl (1968) starring Barbra Streisand and Omar Sharif, in which Mohr was featured as Tom Branca, one of Nicky Arnstein's cronies, who offers to help Fanny Brice out by giving the proud but debt-ridden gambler a prime casino job.
Mohr was overseas in Stockholm, Sweden, where he had just completed filming the pilot of a new TV series called "Private Entrance" when he suddenly died of a heart attack at the age of 54. - Actor

Christina Crawford was born on June 11, 1939, to teenage parents. She was later adopted by screen legend Joan Crawford, originally named Joan Crawford Jr. When she was 11 months old, she was taken to Nevada, where she was formally adopted by Joan and renamed Christina. Her early life was one of happiness living with her "Mommie Dearest".
When she was three, her mother married Phillip Terry and they adopted a baby originally named Phillip Terry, Jr. but, after their divorce, he was renamed Christopher Crawford. By her account, soon after, things started to change at home. Her mother started giving her tasks around the house, like doing the dishes but Joan also sometimes assigned her things to do that where physically impossible for her to do. In the mornings, everyone would have to walk on tiptoe and whisper so as not to wake Joan up. Around this time, what Christina calls "night raids" started happening, such as the infamous "No Wire Hangers Ever" scene depicted in Mommie Dearest (1981). These raids would sometimes last for several hours. When Christina was about nine, Joan adopted twins, Cathy and Cindy.
Soon after, her mother decided to send her to the prestigious Chadwick School, a boarding school in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, about forty minutes from their home. Christina alleges during her time at Chadwick she wore her coat to class because Joan gave her only two dresses, one pair of shoes and the coat for a whole semester. There was also an unfortunate incident where Christina was caught alone with a boyfriend without permission. Joan heard about it a few days later and removed her from the school. Christina was sent to a Catholic boarding school until she went to college in Pittsburgh. She spent one year in college and then started doing acting jobs. She moved to New York, worked in a restaurant and did odd jobs. She went to England for a while and while there her stepfather, Alfred N. Steele, CEO of the Pepsi-Cola company, died. While in a summer stock production of "Splendor in the Grass", she met a man she would eventually marry, but the marriage didn't last long. Christina was cast on the TV soap opera The Secret Storm (1954) in 1968. While out recovering from surgery, Joan, who by then was well-past 60, stepped in for her, playing a 28-year-old woman. After this, Christina returned to California, went back to school and met David Koontz, later her second husband.
When Joan Crawford died in 1977, it made headlines that she had cut Christina and Christopher out of her will. Shortly afterward, Christina wrote "Mommie Dearest" about her life with her abusive mother. In 1981, the best-selling book was made into a blockbuster movie. Christina shortly thereafter suffered a major stroke from which she recovered. A couple of years later, she and David divorced. Since then, she has lived in Northern Idaho, operated a bed-and-breakfast, and continued writing.- Naslen was born on 11 June 2000 in Kodungallur, Thrissur, Kerala, India. British leading man who achieved some success in American films, as well. Born in Ireland as the son of a British officer, Todd grew up in Devon and (for a brief time) in India and attended Shrewsbury Public School. His interest in theatre led him to small roles in stock in England and Scotland and three tiny film roles, following which he helped found the Dundee Repertory Theatre in 1939. He served with distinction as a paratrooper in the Second World War and returned to considerably more prominent theatre roles, culminating in the role of "Lachie" in John Patrick's "The Hasty Heart", in which he played in London and then followed Richard Basehart in the Broadway production. He made his first major film appearance in 1948, and the next year was again cast as "Lachie", this time in the film version of The Hasty Heart (1949). His performance, a truly star-making and moving piece of work, earned him an Oscar nomination as Best Actor. He followed it with a role in Alfred Hitchcock's Stage Fright (1950), but although he continued to play leading roles, often in quite good films, he never again achieved the prominence and acclaim he had had with The Hasty Heart (1949). He was quite effective in such roles as "Robin Hood" and "Rob Roy", and very touching as "Peter Marshall" in A Man Called Peter (1955). In The Longest Day (1962), he portrayed his own superior officer at the Pegasus Bridge fight, with another actor portraying Todd himself in a recreation of his own experiences. Ultimately, Todd's starring roles dwindled, but he continued as a stalwart character actor, primarily in British films.- Actor

Eugene continued to worked throughout his years at Downside School in a number of comercials, and most notably as Young Ben Hur in Drimtim Entertainment's 'Ben Hur'. After filming he began modelling through UK agency Models 1, he continues to do so.
On his 18th birthday Eugene was offered both his roles in both Game of Thrones & House of Anubis. Between filming the two shows Eugene debuted as lead American characters in his first US films; 'Before I Sleep' as fictional poet Eugene Devlin alongside 'Harry Potter' co-star Bonnie Wright, and Lord-of-the-Flies esque movie 'Eden' as US soccer player Kennefick. Eugene resides between London and Los Angeles throughout the year.
Known trivia about Eugene includes: his love of languages, speaking French and Spanish from a father that speaks Russian and Portugese. He is the middle of an older brother and a younger sister, the only actor in the family. The name Eugene was given from his great-grandfather Eugene Barry Walsh as a homage to his Irish ancestry. Training includes sword-fighting, horse-riding and charioteering. Impersonation, mimicry and voice over work are much loved pastimes of his and are the reasons, he says, that he got into acting.- Actor

- John Tui was born on June 11, 1975 in Auckland, New Zealand.
John played the role of Bones in an episode of "Mataku", before his breakout role in the hit children's television series, "Power Rangers S.P.D." as Commander Anubis 'Doggie' Cruger, the S.P.D. Shadow Ranger. This was a notable role for John, as he was the only actor in the series to play both the voice actor and the suit actor of Doggie Cruger. In the next season of Power Rangers, "Power Rangers Mystic Force", John returned to the franchise to play Daggeron, the Solaris Knight. John is the only actor to portray the role of two different mentors that were also Power Rangers. This was possible for the series, since his role as Daggeron was portrayed as a human, and not a voice, nor suit actor (aside from the normal ADR process for his character).
After his time on Power Rangers, John moved on to the hit New Zealand soap Opera series "Shortland Street", as the character: Colin 'Dollar' Laws. He also portrayed the character of Wellness Attendent #1 in the series "This is Not My Life", and Timbo in the television series "Go Girls." Tui struck gold yet again, portraying the character Chief Petty Officer Walter 'The Beast' Lynch.
Since then, John's career only went up, as he was offered the role of Bolg in the beloved film franchise "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies," to which he also played the suit actor for, giving much credit to his experience as Doggie Cruger on Power Rangers S.P.D. John has also been a part of other large film franchises, such as the character Korso in "Solo: A Star Wars Story" and Kal Hobbs in "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw." Most recently, John has had roles in New Zealand films, such as Moses in the movie "Savages", Baron To'a in "The Legend of Baron To'a" and Wade in the comedy film, "Paper Champions."
John portrayed the character of real life wrestler Afa Anoa'i, one of two members of the professional wrestling duo, The Wild Samoans, in the 2021 television series, "Young Rock", telling the story of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's youth and being raised around his professional wrestling family.
When he's not filming, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Liyah, and their four children. - Actress

The son of a hardware merchant and cousin of Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton, Robert Hutton was born in Kingston, New York, and attended Blair Academy in New Jersey. For several seasons the future film actor was a leading man and director with the Woodstock Playhouse stock company in New York. He supplemented his income by posing for the photographic illustrations in sensational magazines and tabloids like "Modern Confessions". He spent several years as a Warner Brothers contract player, but went through some lean times after he left the studio and even considered going into some other field. Hutton stuck with show business, working in movies, TV and even doing some writing and directing. After working in England for several years he returned to the US and settled again in Kingston, NY, where he was born. He suffered a broken back in an in-home fall and spent his last days in a nursing-care facility. He told an interviewer, "I lived a fantasy in Hollywood. I met and worked with so many people now considered legends. And then, just when I wondered why I was even alive, I broke my back, and the Lord opened up a whole new world of opportunity for me". Hutton wrote an autobiography but it was never published because (according to Hutton) he wouldn't dish dirt on the stars he knew.- Leila Hoffman was born on 11 June 1934 in Hackney, London, England, UK.
