Beth Jean Riesgraf is an American actress. She is known for her portrayal of Parker on the TNT television series Leverage (2008-2012) and the revival Leverage: Redemption which streams on IMDb TV. Originally from Belle Plaine, Minnesota, Riesgraf graduated from Cimarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1996.- Matthew Noszka is an actor on the rise. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Noszka was discovered on Instagram by a top New York model manager in the Summer of 2014. De Mars is a Rokudan (6th Degree Blackbelt), and was the first American to win a Gold medal at the 1984 World Judo Championships in Vienna. She is the mother to four daughters - sports journalist Maria Burns Ortiz, Jennifer Rousey, Olympic Bronze Medalist and UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, and Julia DeMars. De Mars is of Venezuelan descent.
As a child, AnnMaria admits to being a short, fat, little kid that wore thick glasses, spent all her time sitting in her room, eating, and reading books. Her three brothers gave her the nickname "Stumpy" because she was built like a tree stump. AnnMaria's mother demanded she do some type of physical activity, so at the age of 12, she began training in Judo at the local YMCA.
De Mars won her first judo competition, the USJA Nationals, at the age of 16. That same year she attended Washington University in St. Louis as a Business Major. At age 18 she enrolled in the university foreign exchange program, which enabled her to attend Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. While there, she studied Judo under Sensei Osawa, one of the most respected Judo instructors in the world.
In 1978 she graduated with a degree in business, won the U.S. Judo Senior and Collegiate Nationals, as well as the U.S. Open. De Mars then earned an MBA in 1980 from the University of Minnesota. Returning to Judo in 1981, she took the Bronze in the Tornoi d'Orleans and British Open Tournaments. In 1982 she was ranked #1 in the USJI rankings and won the US Open. She then took a year off to give birth to daughter Maria. During this time she finished her academic studies, graduating with a MA and PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of California, Riverside.
Throughout 1983 and 1984 De Mars competed in various Judo tournaments - the Pan American Games, the US Open, the Austrian Open, Canada Cup, and the US Senior Nationals. Coming out of retirement, she won the 1984 World Judo Championships. De Mars then retired from Judo competition to raise her family and pursue a career in education and business.
In 2013 Forbes listed De Mars on its annual "40 Women to Watch Over 40". She is CEO of 7 Generation Games and The Julia Group. She is also an author, blogger, statistical consultant, Native American activist, and Judo coach. - Actress

Maybelle married Ezra Carter when she was 16. The following year, in 1927, her brother-in-law, A.P. Carter, convinced his wife Sara and Maybelle (pregnant at the time) to make the journey from Virginia to Tennessee to audition for record producer Ralph Peer, who was seeking talent for the new recording industry. The Carter Family is believed to be the first commercial rural country music group. Maybelle played the guitar, autoharp and banjo, and created a unique sound for the group. She was widely respected and loved by the Grand Ole Opry community of the early 1950s, and was popularly known as "Mother Maybelle."
In 1993, her image appeared on a U.S. postage stamp honoring the Carter Family. In 2001 she was initiated into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor.
The Carter Family was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1970 and they were given the nickname "The First Family of Country Music." Joseph "Joe" Chambers is an exceptionally talented American Singer, Songwriter and guitarist, of The Chambers Brothers. Joe, along with brothers Willie, Lester and George are founding members of the Los Angeles Rock Scene. After years of playing the Folk Festival Circuit, The Chambers Brothers became plugged into a burgeoning West Coast psychedelic rock movement.
Their big break came in 1967, signing a multi-album deal with Columbia Records. The title song to their debut "Time Has Come Today" co-written by Joe along with brother Willie, gave the band a #11 Billboard smash and a global following.
After The Chambers Brothers first run ended in 1977, Joe recorded Levi Strauss commercials and session work with Lee Oskar and Buzzy Linhart. He continued to tour with The Chambers Brothers and The San Francisco All-stars throughout the decades.
Joe remains very active in Los Angeles, performing with The Chambers Brothers at high profile clubs and festivals. Logan Workman, born on December 18, 1997 in Kalamazoo, MI, is a young film director known for his desire to experiment with many aspects of film and promote provocative/political themes.
Logan's interest in film spawned during high school in a small film class at Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, MI where he focused primarily on making stylized, fan-made/unofficial music videos. He didn't make the transition to narrative film until attending one year at Compass College of Cinematic Arts where he wrote, directed, and edited his first narrative short film, 'Forget A Moment, I Love You'.
In 2016 and 2017, Logan won various student filmmaker awards for his fan-made music videos from the Kalamazoo Teen Filmmaker Festival (2016 - 2017), DAFT Student Film Festival (2016), and was a finalist in the experimental film category at the All American High School Film Festival (2017), achieving high regards.- Music Department

Weatherwax (1858-1859); Grace Ball Weatherwax (1865-1938); and twin brothers Fred Van Allen Weatherwax (1870-1881) and Albert Weatherwax (1870-1870). Walter was just eight years old when financial and legal problems forced his parents to move to Denver, Arapahoe County, Colorado, on July 14, 1875. Parents William C. Weatherwax and Elizabeth Mary Smiley separated shortly thereafter, and were divorced in Denver, Arapahoe County, Colorado on March 27, 1878. By 1880, Walter was living with his father William C. While living in New Mexico, Walter filed for patents on several of his inventions. During the spring of 1913, Walter Smiley Weatherwax moved his wife Anna and their seven children [Judd Wallis Weatherwax; DoraNeil Weatherwax; Frank Thrall Weatherwax; William McAlister Weatherwax; Ruddel Bird Weatherwax; Jack Nathan Weatherwax; and Marguerite Peggy Weatherwax] to Los Angeles, California. The kids found work in silent pictures. In 1920, the family was living at 1439 Cahuenga Avenue in North Hollywood. Walter trained horses and dogs, and had a bear which he kept in a cage in the back yard. Walter died on January 19, 1943, at his home on St. Clair Avenue, in North Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California, and is buried in Valhalla Cemetery.

Melvin Lawrence Koontz was born on December 1, 1910 in Fort Scott, Kansas. He was one of nine children and a fraternal twin. Mel Koontz and his family moved out to Los Angeles when he was a teenager, and he went to work at fourteen as a popcorn and peanut vendor at the old Selig Zoo in Los Angeles. By the time he was eighteen, he worked himself up to "cage cleaner", according to the 1930 Federal Census. From that humble start, he began to work more and more with wild animals until he became known as one of the premier animal trainers of Hollywood's "Golden Age". Koontz was known as the trainer of "Jackie", the MGM lion, and, by his estimation, he had worked in six hundred movies, and appeared in more than three hundred of them, including doubling for 'Maurice Schwartz' in Slaves of Babylon and Mae West in I'm No Angel. In 1939, he went to New York where he had an animal act in Frank Buck's Jungleland that was one of the major events of the World's Fair. After the fair ended, he returned to California and boarded his big cats and performed at Bird Wonderland until 1946, when he became Chief Trainer of Jungleland, in Thousand Oaks, California, a position he held until he retired, due to failing eyesight, in 1964. A lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose, he worked as club steward for Moose Lodge No. 1919 in Thousand Oaks before returning to his birthplace of Fort Scott, Kansas in 1975.- Actor
