Composer ("Wouldn't You Really Rather Have A Buick?") and producer, educated at Princeton University where he was president of the Triangle Club between 1941 and 1942. During World War II, he served in the United States Navy, then became the vice-president and director of radio and television at the MacManus and John Adams advertising agencies between 1951 and 1961. In 1963 he founded Mark-L Enterprises, and composed the incidental music for the Broadway play "The Owl and the Pussycat". He also co-produced "The Passion of Joseph D". Joining ASCAP in 1961, his other instrumental compositions include 'Christmas Magic', 'David and Lisa's Love Song' ("The More I See of Lisa"), 'It's Love Just the Same', 'Jilfingle Belfells', 'Parents Song', 'People Were Nice', and 'Too Bad'.- Ivan Bayda was born on 25 June 1914 in Yelizavetgrad, Kherson Governorate, Russian Empire [now Kirovohrad, Ukraine].
