Walter Clinton was a layout artist in the animation industry, best known for his work for Hanna-Barbera in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and began his career in animation as a character designer in Tex Avery's studio at MGM. He worked on animated commercials for Five Star Productions from 1953 to 1957, and then joined Hanna-Barbera. He was a layout artist on shows like 'The Flinstones', 'The Ruff & Reddy Show' 'Top Cat', 'The Yogi Bear Show', 'The Huckleberry Hound Show' and 'Quick Draw McGraw'. Clinton was characterized to draw great part of the human characters with the low ear in the H-B cartoons of the period. It is said that he also drew the first installments of the 'Flinstones' daily comic strip under supervision of Gene Hazelton in October 1961. During his career, he developed several personal comic strips, that never went into syndication. He retired in 1969 and died in Sun City, Arizona, on 15 January 1992.- Actor
Andy Womack was a successful Phoenix, AZ building contractor who developed and built the largest single housing project in Arizona using the assembly line process. His stint as three-time chairman of the Jaycees Rodeo of Rodeos in Phoenix sparked his interest in the sport, where he developed close friendships with other famous rodeo clowns Jasbo Fulkerson, Wilbur Plaugher George Mills, Wick Peth, and Leon Coffee in his later years. He had many close western actor friends through the years who were also rodeo stars, such as Ken Curtis (Fester, "Gunsmoke"), Michael Landon (Little Joe, "Bonanza"), Slim Pickens (film star) and Academy Award Winning actor, Ben Johnson.
In 1939, Andy traded his construction company suit for greasepaint and a rodeo clown costume and began a second career as a professional rodeo clown and barrel-man specialist. He patterned his signature face makeup and costume similar to Fulkerson's, as a nodding tribute to his friend. His frantic dashes to the barrel and plunges into it inspired awe and huge applause from rodeo crowds nationwide. He was also the first clown to introduce a chimpanzee, "Cousin Hugo", as a "co-star" in his clown acts. Hugo did trick riding exhibitions along with "Dynamite" the mule, rode bucking horses, and worked the bull riding event from atop a hanging dummy. Andy and his animal partners worked Madison Square Garden, the Cow Palace, and hundreds of other rodeos, and frequently appeared in western stage shows along with Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. Andy also appeared in the movies "Bus Stop" with Marilyn Monroe and "This Way Joe" with Elvis Presley.
Throughout the 1930s to the 1990's Andy Womack continued to be a widely recognized force in the building/construction business in Metro Phoenix, and continued his rodeo clown act as a hobby. His rodeo and stage performances spanned nearly 60 years. When others would have contemplated retirement, Andy would put on the makeup and costume once more, and at age 84, he made his final performance in Phoenix, AZ at the Old Timers Rodeo Circuit.- Actor

Harry Wiere was born in Berlin, Germany in 1906, into a family having a long tradition in show business. He was the oldest of three brothers. In 1922, he and his brothers, Herbert Wiere and Sylvester Wiere, formed The Wiere Brothers comedy act and began performing in theatres and on stages. They came to America for the first time in 1935 and remained in 1937. The Wiere Bros. were an exceptionally talented comedy team having the ability to play numerous instruments, sing, dance and perform acrobatics, while being extremely funny in the process. Their act was a headliner on the theatre and night club circuit, and in films they are very funny, but unfortunately were not used very frequently. Their first film appearance was in Vogues of 1938 (1937). Two of their film appearances in 1943, Swing Shift Maisie (1943) and Hands Across the Border (1943), both claim to "introduce the Wiere Brothers" to American audiences. Their dancing and music routine is probably best captured on film in Road to Rio (1947), starring Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. Their last film appearance was in Double Trouble (1967), starring Elvis Presley. In 1960, CBS commissioned thirteen episodes of a television series starring the Wiere Brothers. The series, Oh! Those Bells (1962), was initially directed by former Three Stooges director Jules White. The show aired in the Summer of 1962 and was not renewed after its first season. The Wiere Brothers continued to appear in night clubs and regularly on television throughout the fifties, sixties and, until 1970, when Sylvester Wiere died. After Sylvester's death, Harry and Herbert went into semi-retirement, but continued to work occasionally in television and on stage. In January of 1992, Harry Wiere died. As of 1996, Herbert Wiere is semi-retired and resides in California.- Music Department
