Character actor and film editor, son of Houseley Stevenson. Like his father and brothers (designer Edward Stevenson and actor Onslow Stevens), trained at the Pasadena Community Playhouse, where he appeared in plays and learn stagecraft. He had a number of small film roles, then drifted into film editing. He spent several years as post-production supervisor at Bing Crosby Productions.
