Well known in local community and dinner theater circles, Roberta performed in numerous productions ranging from "Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean" to a local short feature film, Hefty's. In Hefty's Roberta played the waitress, working beside Sam Raimi who played a chef - never imagining he would become the huge success he is today. Hefty's was written by Dick Rockwell and produced and directed by John Prusak.
