Florence Kaye was a New Yorker who in the 1940s hosted a radio show in Georgia and entertained the troops at the United States Organization Shows. By 1949 Florence had begun to write with writers like Lee Rebideau & Don Canton, songs like "Beware", "It Happened This Many Times Before", "See You Soon", "The Whistler Song". She later wrote a few songs for Elvis Presley with Bernie Baum and Bill Giant. They also wrote the English theme song for Osamu Tezuka's "Kimba the White Lion".
