When someone told Brad Johnson he'd come a long way, his usual response was, "Well, I had a long way to come." Born on a small ranch in Tucson, Johnson, the son of a horse trainer/used car salesman, did everything from shoeing horses to repossessing cars to serving as a hunting and fishing guide. His humble beginnings nurtured his modesty and quiet strength and had critics comparing him to John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and James Stewart.
Brad's route to stardom was speedy, dramatic and somewhat circuitous. He joined the Pro Rodeo circuit in 1984 and was spotted wrestling steers in Wyoming by a casting director looking for cowboys to use as extras in a beer commercial. After this first break came a three-year run as the Marlboro Man, then numerous Calvin Klein print ads and more commercials. After a serious knee injury sidelined his rodeo career, Johnson headed for Hollywood.
Within five months of his arrival, Roger Corman cast him to star in Nam Angels (1989). Soon after, Steven Spielberg discovered Johnson and offered him the coveted role of Ted Baker, Holly Hunter's love interest in Always (1989). When asked about her co-star, Holly described Brad as "all twisted steel and sex appeal." The Spielberg film led Johnson to Paramount for John Milius's Flight of the Intruder (1991). An exclusive three-picture deal at Paramount followed.
With 60 hours of television, 11 pilots and over 25 films to his credit, there was no slowing down. Johnson's Los Angeles-based High Lonesome Productions and his producing partner Lou Pitt had several projects in different stages of production.
Brad lived with his wife Laurie and their eight children on a ranch in the mountains of Colorado.- Actor

Fong was born in the Xinhui district of the city of Jiangmen, located in the province of Canton, China in 1928. At the age of five, he arrived in Seattle, Washington with his parents and siblings, where they were detained for a time, as was common with immigrants from Asia. Upon being released in Seattle, the family traveled overland to Chicago, where Leo's maternal uncle owned a restaurant, and where his father had been guaranteed work. After enough time working at the restaurant, Leo's father Richard had saved enough money to purchase a small grocery store in the tiny agricultural community of Widener, Arkansas. After suffering racial taunts at school, going home telling his father and finding out what they actually meant and then later suffering further racial taunts, he got into a fight at school and he was unfairly punished by a teacher. At age 12 he bought a book called The Fundamentals of Boxing by Barney Ross. He studied the book from cover to cover and learned how to defend himself from bullies. He took up boxing at age 15. Having a knock out punch, his amateur record was 18-7. As well as having a great amount of experience from the American amateur boxing program, Fong had very good experience in weight training. He was friend and student of professional bodybuilder Bill Pearl, and had trained under him for a few years.
His entry into eastern martial arts began in the 1950s with judo and Jiu Jitsu. Through the years he studied and practiced various martial arts styles to the point where he developed his own style called Wei Kune Do.
He was a friend of famed martial artist Bruce Lee and managed to have a sparring session with him. Fong appeared on the cover of the 10th anniversary edition of Black Belt magazine. - Gennadiy Yukhtin is a Soviet and Russian actor. People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
At ten years old, the boy was orphaned: his mother died at the front, and his father died of wounds. Gennadiy Yukhtin ended up in a special orphanage for the children of fallen army and navy officers. Later he ended up in the Volga region, where the teacher, a former actress, introduced her pupils to amateur performances. Then Yukhtin was seriously interested in theatrical art, although after secondary school he was going to enter a military school.
Yukhtin entered VGIK with the first attempt. His teachers were Olga Pyzhova and Boris Bibikov. Rufina Nifontova, Izolda Izvitskaya, Tatyana Konyukhova, Nadezhda Rumyantseva, Mayya Bulgakova and Margarita Krinitsyna studied at the same course with Yukhtin. In 1955, young Gennadiy appeared on the screen in the The Rumyantsev Case (1956) as a former orphanage, driver Evdokimov, who brought up a boy who accidentally turned out to be his namesake. After filming in the films Chuzhaya rodnya (1956) and Vesna na Zarechnoy ulitse (1956), he was accepted into the State Theater of the Film Actor.
In the films Gennadiy Yukhtin played Soviet people: workers, drivers, engineers, military personnel. At the same time, they played people of a completely different plan: a cruel and cynical saboteur in the film Akvalangi na dne (1966), the pirate Israel Hands in Treasure Island (1982), the anarchist conspirator Pshennikov in the film O druzyakh-tovarishchakh (1970). The actor was remembered by the audience in the episodes: for example, playing the role of Ignat in the movie Neulovimye mstiteli (1967). - Costume and Wardrobe Department
