- 2011–Podcast EpisodeSparks and Rebecca enter the Space Saloon, and are greeted by the Barkeep. They begin their date, which was arranged in the previous episode, by speaking about their worst qualities. Rebecca says she is severely insecure and far too forthright about it. She also gives her heart too fast and too fully. The Barkeep joins the conversation for a short time to relay his worst qualities: eavesdropping, feeling entirely welcome to join conversations that don't concern him, and loving too much. He believes his tendency to keep trouble out of his place is among his best qualities. Rebecca says Sparks' worst quality is that he can't stop being the Marshal. Shortly thereafter, Los Banditos Mutantes enter. Sparks and Rebecca argue whether or not Sparks should intervene. The Barkeep tells Sparks not to intervene and to enjoy his date, as he has already called Croach for help. Rebecca accuses Sparks of having a fear of commitment and trying to weasel out of the date and relationship. Croach enters, and the Saloon Doors flirts with him. The Doors, Croach and Barkeep all push Sparks to answer whether he intends to commit to Rebecca. Croach agrees to deal with Los Banditos Mutantes so Sparks can continue the date. The Mutantes, claiming they have no outstanding warrants, decline to be arrested, say they are here to vote on new leadership to determine the future of Los Banditos Mutantes. The first candidate wants to return to their core values of hypercattle rustling and other crimes. The other wishes to focus on community outreach and acts of good. The third, the former leader, recused himself and is there to vote. Croach joins in their restructuring conversation. Sparks, distracted, returns to the date with Rebecca, but keeps checking in on Croach. Rebecca gives Sparks an ultimatum to meet her outside in two minutes or not at all. The Mutante attempting to persuade the others to perform community service gives his closing argument and accidentally convinces Sparks to grab for happiness, Sparks leaves the Saloon to meet Rebecca. The Mutante arguing to return to roots uses his closing argument to shoot the Mutante wanting to perform community service and is elected leader. Sparks meets Rebecca at the gelato stand, and they retire to his place for the weekend.
- 2011–Podcast EpisodeAfter being shot with a science gun by Billy the Bot, Sparks Nevada and Croach the Tracker's bodies are switched. They both have problems adjusting to one another's bodies and spend several minutes arguing over whose body is superior. Billy threatens to break the science gun unless Sparks and Croach surrender their weapons. Sparks asks Croach to draw his weapons on Billy, but Croach is too distracted by experiencing life in a human body. Sparks is unable to control Croach's far more complicated body and cannot draw his weapon. Sparks offers Billy anything he wants in order to switch them back, but he shoots Sparks (in Croach's body) with a regular gun instead. Sparks is grossed out by Croach's Nah Nohtek kicking in and healing him. Croach realizes he cannot pronounce Martian words correctly with the human single tongue, and laughs, a feeling which he cannot control. Croach gets the giggles for the first time, very much enjoying it. He does not feel the need to quantify the experience. He realizes the simplicity of the human body magnifies each sense due to feelings, and likes being in a human body. Just as Billy is about to shoot Croach, in Sparks' body, The Red Plains Rider appears and shoots Billy's remaining arm off. After explaining to Red what has happened, Croach apologizes to Red for leaving her. He explains that the onslaught of emotions in Sparks' body caused him to realize he was callous for leaving Red without telling her, only leaving her a note. He explains that their physiognomies are non-complimentary, and he did not communicate his unhappiness until he left. Croach attempts to apologize with a kiss, and says that now that they're in compatible bodies their relationship will be easier. Red insists she's not there to see Croach about their relationship, but to inform Sparks that there's a major catastrophe about to happen. Croach, attempting to show Red what she means to him, shows Red his (or in this case Sparks') feet. Croach says he cares more for her than the entire planet, but Red suggests they're leftover feelings from Sparks' body. Red decides to switch Sparks and Croach back to their rightful bodies. Afterward, Red asks Croach if he would still like to show her his feet, and he says he needs time for further analysis, breaking Red's heart. Red informs Sparks that there's Science Aliens drilling into the core of the planet, and Billy says that he saw a Science Alien mailing a postcard that said that Mars would be the ideal weapon for their fight against the "other ones", which is how he knew the science alien had weapons. Sparks arrests Billy and Croach puts him in a cell. Sparks offers to have Red help check out the science aliens, but she turns him down and leaves.

- 2011–Podcast EpisodeIt's quiet on Mars, and such a nice day that both Sparks and Croach almost agree that it evokes strong reminiscing. Outside, there's a disturbance, so the marshals head outside to see what's going on. "Lucky" Luke Lamont, aka the Youngslinger is calling out Six-Shooter Sam, and sings the song he wrote to help people remember his two nicknames. Sparks objects to Luke calling himself the fastest gun on Mars, as he is not. Croach believes The Red Plains Rider is the fastest gun on Mars, though she is currently off-planet, while Sparks believes it's himself. Luke says he is calling Six-Shooter Sam out for stealing his girl, Ruby, and robbing the carnival satellite orbiting Mars which is Luke's home. Sparks tries to dissuade Luke from calling anyone out, citing his lack of showdown experience, and Luke responds that he's the number one ranked player at Nutso Ned's Western Sector Robot Shootout-a-palooza. Croach agrees that's the single greatest carnival amusement. Luke is not dissuaded by Sparks, and continues to call out Six-Shooter Sam, who enters the street. Six-Shooter Sam is a Flonakatonk from Fleevia-7 with six arms, and no idea what "Lucky" Luke Lamont's beef with him could be. Ruby arrives, and barely remembers Luke, and confirms that she's with Sam happily and willingly. She also agrees that she spent time with Luke and others at the carnival before she met Sam, and is also annoyed to be referred to as a prize to be won. She then confesses that the gang that she's with isn't Sam's gang, it's hers, and she and her gang robbed the carnival. She challenges everyone, except Croach, to a showdown. The group bickers about which duel should go first, or if they should have a free-for-all. Ruby challenges Luke to the first duel, which angers Sam. Sparks tries to talk Luke out of the duel, and Ruby insults Luke's innocence. Sparks tells Luke that seeing a gal you like with another guy does hurt, but another gal will come along, and perhaps also break your heart, but eventually, someone else may come along who will stay. Luke takes Sparks' words to heart, and tells her he's sorry for how he laid claim to her. He also tells Sam he's sorry, and Sam is lucky that Ruby wants to be with him. Sam realizes he deserves someone who really cares for him, as he now knows that Ruby doesn't love him, and wants a lady outlaw who wants a commitment. Ruby is annoyed that Sam wants a commitment, as that's not what she's looking for. She considers going it alone for a while, or starting a lady gang. Sparks then draws on the pair, arresting them for robbing the carnival satellite. Everyone agrees that Sparks is a very fast draw. Sparks says he's never been beat, and when Croach reminds him that he has, Sparks teases him for wanting to reminisce.

Basil constantly tries to convince her to take the next step in their relationship (either moving in together or becoming engaged), but Sadie is hesitant. Bobo arrives, and is surprised to see Basil. Bobo found the genie's lamp a few years previous and (after taking some time to figure out how it worked), he wished that Frank Doyle had never existed. He believed that this would enable him to be with Sadie once more. Basil, after hearing that Sadie had in fact married someone, concludes that she would be happier with the way things had been before Bobo made his wish. He steals the lamp and wishes for Bobo's wish to be reversed and to have his memory wiped of his time with Sadie. Sadie wishes that she would be able to remember. The genie grants both wishes and sends them back to how things were before Bobo made his wish.

She explains to Frank how she actually remembers a life where that happened, in the events of Art Imitates Life. Frank becomes jealous just as there is a knock on the door. Sadie opens the door as Frank asks if the gentleman at the door was present in the genie-begotten world. Sadie affirms that he was, as Basil Valentine enters the apartment. Basil does not remember his life with Sadie, but does remember Sadie as they knew each other when they dated in college. Frank also recognizes Basil, as he's now a preeminent archaeologist and Frank is suddenly a fan of archaeologists. Sadie asks Basil what brings him by, and Basil first wonders why Frank and Sadie keep making veiled references to something. Basil then explains that on a recent expedition he encountered something terrible, and Frank and Sadie's names came up when he began asking around for someone who can help with the darkness he encountered. Basil's daughter, Kimberly, has been possessed by a demon who escaped when Basil excavated an ancient tomb and told Kimmy to come take a look at the weird phenomenon. Frank and Sadie bring Kimmy, possessed by Gormanger, to the bedroom and tie her to the bed for safety during the exorcism. Both Frank and Sadie attempt to exorcise Kimmy but neither are able to. They each also have a conversation with Basil, vaguely referencing Sadie's life with Basil, while the other attempts the exorcism. Gormanger says that in order to leave Kimmy alone, he insists someone else summons his sister demon Krakoroth to inhabit their form. Despite Frank and Sadie's protests, Basil summons Krakoroth. Gormanger and Krakoroth proceed to bicker over a broken vase from like, 20,000 years ago getting broken. Sadie then brokers peace between the two and has them apologize to each other, making amends. They decide to go tear a group of people apart together until Sadie threatens to summon the demons' mother. Despite Frank's protests, she almost does summon the mother into herself, but the demons, terrified of their mother, agree to leave peacefully. Basil thanks Frank and Sadie as Frank unties Kimmy. Basil asks again what it is they aren't telling him, but Sadie tells Basil it's better he doesn't know. Basil agrees. Frank and Sadie hug, and agree to never be apart again.
- 2011–Podcast EpisodeSparks Nevada, just having received a distress signal from the Space Saloon, enters the saloon and is greeted by the Saloon Doors. The Barkeep is nowhere to be found, but Croach, Pemily, and The Saloon Doors are all acting strangely. Sparks asks Croach to leave with him, as The Red Plains Rider is ready to enact the martian ritual she asked for help with in La Venganza de Los Bandititos. Both Pemily and Croach nearly begin to act like themselves, when there is a zapping noise before they continue to act as if they're very drunk. Croach then hugs Sparks tightly, despite Sparks' objections. Another man inside the saloon introduces himself as Lairn Gar'ner, and says he is running for mayor of Mars. Lairn says he's running on a platform of blocking time travelers, as well as blocking travelers from other planets. He believes anyone not born on Mars, regardless of their race, should be removed from Mars. Because he's running on a "Keep Mars Martian" platform as a human, he's extremely unpopular. Lairn explains how he had purchased a language shifter, which allows people who don't speak the same language to hear a common language. Lairn had his cousin, a mad scientist, modify the shifter, so now it's a mechanism for mass mind control, and people will vote how they "ought" to. He then called for a special mayoral election, an idea which everyone in town loved, as they were under mind control. Lairn attempts to control Sparks' mind with the language shifter, but it doesn't work. He declares he'll have to kill Sparks, but only after he goes outside for a last minute stump speech as he doesn't want to bloody his clothing. He orders Croach to not stop hugging Sparks, then heads outside. Pemily breaks free of mind control then explains that the brain zapper isn't permanent and doesn't work as well on people from off world. Pemily and Sparks plan to have Sparks distract Lairn when he returns, so Pemily can steal the language shifter. However, when Lairn enters the Saloon, Croach and The Saloon Doors give the plan away, and Lairn re-zaps Pemily. Sparks changes tactics and gives Lairn the advice to outlaw onus once he becomes mayor. Strongly invoking onus wakes Croach up from his mind control. Croach lets Sparks go, Sparks grabs the language shifter and releases The Saloon Doors and Pemily from Lairn's control. Lairn explains that he still has one chance for election -- he's not running against anyone, as he mind-controlled the Barkeep, forced the Barkeep to transfer The Force Galactic to himself and made the Barkeep "undo" himself. Because the Force Galactic is from space and not locally sourced, Lairn is loathe to use its powers. He considers using it and not telling anyone, which he realizes would be a scandal, and Sparks and company tell him he's worse than even a bad politician. Lairn laments that just once he wants to feel happy or victorious, so Sparks zaps him with the language shifter. He then orders Lairn to bring back the Barkeep as well as return The Force Galactic, and Lairn blissfully complies. Lairn considers trying to run for mayor again, but Sparks, prompted by Pemily, reminds him that he's going to jail, where it will be hard to govern, as well as against the law.

Finding themselves once again at the Old Mission, Our Heroes are spotted by the space crazy Preacher, who now refers to Nevada as 'Laverne'. On their way to find The Preacher they are discovered by the heartthrob of Our Heroes' hearts, The Red Plains Rider. Reaching the parapets of The Old Mission, The Preacher makes the three travelers instant cocoa and they discuss the destruction of Mars. Red Plains Rider begins to make amends for wronging one of the duo in the past, but she is interrupted by The Preacher, who now wants them to list their regrets or else be shot by his gun/fiddle. The Preacher regrets that he only has one button to give, Nevada regrets never letting the flood loose from his lasso, and Croach regrets not having hot cocoa earlier in his life, and Red decides to pass on voicing her regret. Professor Genius appears, flaunting his newly-earned permits and expressing that his appearance is due to the desire to write a paper on the imminent demise of Earth. Red finally gains the courage to speak about her regret, and confesses that she was selfish in her relationship with Croach in expecting him to act in the same way as humans. She also apologizes to Nevada for not giving their relationship a fair chance as she was still too wounded from her breakup with Croach to be fully invested. Before Red can announce which hero will get a second chance with her, she is stopped by the sudden appearance of the murderous robot Lycos Bill. Before Bill can kill Nevada, he is shot by Nevada with the Preacher's gun/fiddle, Deborah. Bill retaliates by snatching the gun/fiddle and practices/plays idly as the comet whooshes harmlessly by. Croach reveals that the Halley's Comet Gang is really a group of cyborgs upon steel mounts of destruction, and that they are merely landing before wreaking havoc. The Halley's Comet Gang waltzes in and begins to plan the finer points of their destruction of Mars. At Nevada's urging, Red admits that she wants to be with Nevada, which gives him the courage to announce the arrest of the gang. The cyborgs transform into a giant supercyborg and move to stomp on Red, but Croach once more steps in the face of danger and is crushed in her place. Professor Genius is trapped by the following crushing step and shoots the Inversification Ray at the supercyborg's force field. Together the misfit troupe lets loose the flood held by Nevada's lasso and washes the evil gang away. - Frank is calling the patent office with a hangover curse (gin, applied liberally), when the Doyles are interrupted by a knock at the door. It's the ghost of their friend Arthur, who needs their help - he wants to go haunt his mother one last time before she dies, but he needs someone to haunt the house he was haunting while he's away. Sadie is reluctant but Frank, who is very excited by the idea of pretending to be a ghost, convinces her. The two head off to Arthur's childhood home. Finding it empty, they busy themselves by doing various 'haunted house' things (stacking the chairs in a pyramid, turning the picture frames, and making all the dolls face the same direction). The house's occupants, a single mother (Karen) and her daughter (Anne Marie), arrive home, and the Doyles hide in the closet. Karen tries hard to hold it together to be strong for her daughter, but the dolls facing the same direction proves to be too much and she flees the room. Frank and Sadie feel bad about having to continue, but as the promised Arthur, they emerge and pretend to be ghosts. Anne Marie isn't scared of them, and explains to the Doyles that Arthur is her friend. She's been having trouble with her mother, and she and Arthur talk about it (and sometimes play with her dolls together). Anne Marie has been hoping that Arthur's haunting will make her mother realize her inner strength. Karen returns, having called the Man In White, Chipper, to help exorcism the house. Frank and Sadie are increasingly skeptical of the legitimacy of Chipper's abilities. He claims the house is full of angry spirits, when the Doyles know that is not the case at all. They emerge from the closet and try to scare Chipper. A real ghost, Arthur's mother, appears and scares Chipper away. Arthur returns, and the two of them reconcile. As Arthur goes into the afterlife, Karen finds her strength and "chases" him away.

Chicky hacks Jim's robo-suit and sends Pemily inside to take care of Jim, but before she can make it in, Jim stomps on her and squishes her. Jim then peels off all of Chicky's bionics and kills him. Kaward beams mines into Jim's armor, but Jim averts the signal and puts the bombs on Kaward's armor instead. Kaward blows up. As the last remaining hero, the Barkeep implores Croach to help, but Croach insists he cannot. The Barkeep asks Croach to transfer the Force Galactic to him, as long as The Barkeep uses the power in front of Croach so he can observe. Croach agrees. The Barkeep uses the Force Galactic to keep Jim from doing any damage to him, and revokes all of Jim's powers as well. He then pulls Evil Jim out of Jim's body, and Good Jim shoots and kills his evil self. The Barkeep brings Sparks and Red back from the wormhole, then brings Chicky, Pemily, and Kaward back to life. He abuses his power a little by transporting everyone back to Mars and resurrects his saloon. Jim tells the Barkeep he did a good job, and found his place - the universe, and saw to it there won't be any more trouble in his place anymore. The Barkeep replies that his place is his bar, and with his new powers he'll make sure there's no more trouble in it.
- 2011–Podcast EpisodeCactoid Jim has organized a Mayor's retreat for several mayors in the solar system to better their mayoring through the open exchange of ideas. He speaks with mayor Derp of Mars ' smaller moon, Deimos and A41397X442, the mayor of robots and a diplomacy robot, then thanks them both for their help. A41397X442 alerts Jim and Derp that a rocket ship is incoming. A very old ship appears in the sky out of nowhere. It opens, and Jim's old friends from the 25th century, Mitch Snow and Ray Bogle appear. Jim tells A41397X442 and Derp how he used to live in the 25th century, but he flew his ship through a time disturbance and ended up in the 30th century. Mitch and Ray call Jim "Jimmy" and reveal his name is actually James Lyons. Snow and Lyons were his best friends. Ray Bogle in particular is taken with A41397X442. Snow and Bogle soon reveal that all of Earth took the loss of Jim pretty hard when he flew through the time disturbance, and all of humanity banded together to figure out how to find and retrieve Jim. A general armistice was called and after five years and ten inventions, Snow and Bogle were sent to the thirty first century to bring Jim back. Jim, however, insists he is not going back to the 25th century, which very much upsets Bogle and Snow. He claims that he is home now, and if he went back, and humanity would stop striving to be better since their goal was reached with Jim returned. Jim claims he did as much good as he could back then, and he has too much good to do in the thirty-first century. Snow asks what will happen with Cynthia, the woman Jim was married to. They also had a child, Owen. Jim blesses a relationship between Cynthia and Mitch Snow, saying he's already done as much good as he could for all of them, as now Snow will have someone when he didn't before. A41397X442 announces another time disturbance. Harry Deacon from the Twenty First century, Jim's first Astronaut partner, also comes through a small fissure in the hole in time Bogle and Snow made. The Twenty-Sixth century time hole that scientists in Snow and Bogle's time is an open sore, which allowed Deacon to appear in the thirty first century at the same time as Snow and Bogle. Jim reveals that he is actually an Astronaut from the twenty-first century. There was a hiccup in Jim's cryo-sleep, and he slept for five hundred years before becoming a twenty-fifth century astronaut. Deacon wants Jim to go back with him to the 21st Century, where Jim has a wife named Elizabeth and a son named Jimmy Jr. Jim declines, instead asks Harry to have Todd Cooper take care of Elizabeth and Jimmy Jr. in his absence, and his fissure fades. Jim encourages Bogle to go back to his time and find himself. Derp and A41397X442 realize that Ray Bogle was the inventor of sentient robots. A41397X442 tells Bogle this just before Bogle and Snow go back to the twenty-sixth century. Snow did not forgive Jim for not returning to the twenty-sixth century with him, calling him a snake in the grass. Afterwards, A41397X442, Derp and Jim all head back to the retreat together.
- 2011–Podcast EpisodeCaptain Gene Peeples makes a journal entry. He, his daughter Erica and his wife (Erica's stepmother) Linda are fighting the MurderMen on the starcraft Olivia. The Olivia has been bordered, most of the crew has already been ManMurdered, though some have been MurderManned. Gene is stranded on the other side of the ship from Erica and Linda, who are waiting for him in an escape pod. They can speak via sound travelling through the vents. Gene says that Ensign Bambrill has gotten off of the ship safely. Erica tells Gene that Linda has made a run for more weapons, but they are currently safe. Gene reports that he was saved by Cactoid Jim, who, after leading a cavalry of mayors against the MurderMen, teleported onto the Olivia. Jim promises that they'll make it through this, but he is asked to make the statement again by his new campaign manager, Chicky Sullivan. Chicky is a cyborg who once almost elected President of Earth but the Earth was not ready for a cyborg president. Jim attempts to figure out a way to get Gene, Chicky, and himself to the escape pod where Linda and Erica are. Gene laments that he had to kill his nephew Sal today, who was also his first mate and godson. Using some of Chicky's cyborg technology, they are able to start making their way towards Linda and Erica. They encounter some MurderMen and are almost overrun before they are saved by The Red Plains Rider, who is extremely mad at Jim for not rescuing her, Croach the Tracker and Sparks Nevada during Mutiny on the Bounty Hunter. He kisses Red in apology and her anger subsides, but when she realizes he's running for President of Earth in 3012, she's mad again. They keep moving, Red shooting MurderMen along the way. Red explains her anger is because she doesn't really belong among humans or martians, she just belongs on Mars. This is the first time she's ever been off Mars, and she really can't imagine living on Earth. After consideration, Jim decides to stop running for President to stay with Red on Mars. Red, so touched that Jim would do that for her, realizes that her home is wherever Jim is, so she agrees that he should run for president and she'll stay with him. MurderMen then converge on their position, but are killed by the auto-turrets in the vents. More head their way through the plumbing system. The four heroes run, and make it to the escape pod with Erica. Unfortunately, Linda had been MurderManned on her way to get more weapons, and Erica was forced to kill her. Even more unfortunately, Erica was also bitten by Linda before blasting her. Realizing that Erica is also going to turn into a MurderMan, Gene thinks will have to kill his own daughter after already blasting his nephew that day. Jim offers to kill Erica instead, but Chicky won't let him as he's broadcasting live to all of Earth while also trying to launch the escape pod and blow up the Olivia. Chicky won't be able to shut off the feed in time to not show Jim killing a teenage girl, which would finish his chances for election. Erica calls Linda, her step-mother, "mom" for the first time, and Gene is touched. In order to save all their lives and Jim's chances at winning the election, The Red Plains Rider kills Erica, while still on live TV. Since Erica still wasn't fully MurderManned, Red is now a wanted criminal. Chicky is then able to cut the broadcast feed. Gene thanks Red, and offers to put her into a coffin that will be jettisoned into space and will land on Mars so she can escape prosecution. Jim and Red declare their love for each other, and Red tells Jim to win the election before getting in the coffin and going back to Mars as a fugitive.
- 2011–Podcast EpisodeCactoid Jim and The Red Plains Rider have been temporarily deputized by Sparks Nevada and asked to escort a Space Coach with three important businessmen across the plains. Mr. Horner sizes up Jim and mentions that he and Sparks Nevada fought together in the War for Earth's Moon. Horner says that Sparks must have a lot of esteem for Jim, sending him despite not having fought in the war. The Red Plains Rider arrives, and after Mr. Horner questions having a woman come along on their space coach escort, Jim sets him straight, then attempts to give Red a badge. Red refuses to wear hers, chastising Jim in advance for polishing his badge when they will have better things to do. Cactoid Jim and Red keep a close eye on their charges. Soon, they come to some rock formations with Highwaymen behind them. Jim suggests instead of shooting right away, they throw a rock at the rock formations, which tips over the formation on top of the robbers. They also encounter a tribe of uncivilized Gray-skinned Martians and a riddle-loving Space Bobcat, all of which Red shot outright. The party arrives at the mars volcanoes. Jim and Red sit a spell and get to know each other, and Jim mentions that he was in a spaceship that fell through a time hole 500 years ago. Red then asks what the businessmen are doing, and they answer that they are testing the lava to see if it's compatible to transmogrify into rocket fuel. They find out it is compatible, and are excited to be even more rich soon. Mr. Dalton says that Mars has been terraformed for hundreds of years and the ecosystem will be fine. On the way back, they encounter Highwayman Dan, who attempts to rob them. Highwayman Dan wields his knife, Stabby LaRoux. Red and Jim shoot Stabby and ruin it. Dan then Jetpacks away, and Cactoid Jim suggests he think about his loss and maybe it will turn him around. Dan gives away the fact that he was hired to murder Mr. Goodnight and Mr. Horner by Mr. Dalton as he leaves. Mr. Goodnight also confesses to hiring other highwaymen to murder Mr. Dalton and Mr. Horner. Mr. Horner did not hire anyone to kill them, he instead arranged the Space-coach guards (Jim and Red) because he knew the other two would try to kill them. Jim and Red arrest Mr. Goodnight and Mr. Dalton, thus giving Mr. Horner all of the profits from their business venture. Back at the Space Port, Mr. Horner suggests that Sparks Nevada may have sent Jim and Red together to guard the coach in order to allow them to get to know each other and possibly fall in love, as Sparks Nevada had set up Mr. Horner and his wife, Lady Hucklebunny, when they were younger. Red offers to shine Jim's badge, as it had gotten dusty, and they share a moment.
- 2011–Podcast EpisodeSparks and Croach return from their tour through Sparks' soul. Felton has decided to stay in Sparks' soul and hang out for awhile, despite Sparks' objections. Croach is still unsure that Sparks will assassinate Cactoid Jim because of the cataclysmic future and not because of his feelings for The Red Plains Rider. Sparks admits it's some of both. Sparks then says it's all for the future, so that Croach will stop asking, and eventually V'stalu agrees to let Sparks assassinate Jim. They return to Earth, at the end of Jim's final speech, just behind the curtain. The Red Plains Rider enters, and is so shocked and happy to see Croach, she hugs him, twice and tells him to never die again. Sparks describes what's happened to Croach, so she asks if the universe has anything to say to her. Croach calls her beautiful and says she is where she should be. Red says she's here on a mission of love, to reunite her marriage with Jim, as she still loves him. She asks what Sparks and Croach doing there, and Sparks tries to explain, but she draws on them. Croach touches her face, showing her the future, and she agrees to let Sparks kill Jim. Jim and Chicky arrive, and Chicky is sure Jim is going to win the election for President of Earth with a complete landslide. Jim is happy to see Red, Sparks and Croach. Croach touches Jim and Chicky's faces, and they see the future too. Jim agrees to allow Red to kill him, but she can't because she loves him, and Jim admits to still loving her, too. He then agrees to allow Sparks to kill him, and admits that he thinks of Sparks as his best friend, throwing Sparks for a loop. Just before Sparks shoots Jim, Chicky wonders why Jim can't just step down. Croach says that Jim is too popular and would still win with write-in ballots. Sparks then suggests that Jim convince the people to vote for someone else, and Jim suggests Chicky. The plan works, and Croach declares that the universe is safe.
- 2011–Podcast EpisodeCroach and Pemily are bickering and Sparks is in the middle. Sparks reminds Pemily that he checked with the USSA Academy headmaster, and she's there as a deputy, not as marshal as she'd previously claimed. Pemily had been sent to Mars by Gene Peeples in hopes the wilder atmosphere would suit her better. Pemily hopes that Sparks will soon promote her to the rank of "best friend". Pemily had set up an appointment for Sparks, so the three head out to the plains of Mars. They come to a revival tent and head in. Techs is inside, preaching. Pemily had found him and set up this meeting so Sparks would have the chance to beat him in a showdown finally. Techs, having found religion, says that he had only tried to kill Sparks originally as a glitch in his programming. He was caught and jailed by Cactoid Jim after he left Mars but before Sparks got his badge back. In the jail library, he found a Martian religion that fixed his glitch. Sparks is itching to kill Techs, but hearing that Techs' glitch is fixed causes Sparks to reconsider. Pemily urges him to kill Techs anyway. Pemily kills Techs' congregation for objecting to her raising pistols at them and Techs. Sparks still isn't convinced Techs means well, and really wants to show down with him, so he has Pemily give Techs her gun. Techs attempts to decline, but is forced to take it under threat of getting shot. Techs tells Sparks he might as well just shoot him, but Sparks decides not to. Pemily draws on Sparks for refusing to shoot Techs when she's sure he hasn't changed and can't change. Techs draws on Pemily. Sparks then draws on Techs. Croach draws his quantum bow and techno arrows, but isn't sure where to point them. Pemily wonders if she won the Punishment Soccer because she's been a killer all along, and being a killer doesn't go back inside someone once it's out. She believes people (and robots) really can't change. Techs tells her how he really has changed. Sparks then tells Pemily how he has changed as well, ever since Rebecca Rose Rushmore's book about him came out and he's trying to be more emotionally available. He says if Pemily puts her gun down, its a step in the right direction to show that she, too, can change. After some consideration, she puts her weapon down. Techs praises Nah Nohtek for Pemily's soul being saved, and both Croach and Sparks object.

JIb had, however, invited The Red Plains Rider, as is Jupiterian tradition to invite the first person they impregnate on each planet. Sparks notes that Red is still really mad at him and would probably have killed him if she had come, while he and Croach are there to arrest him, instead. Jib objects, saying you can't arrest people on Christmas. When Sparks and Croach disagree, he asks to do one Christmas on Jupiter tradition -- to tell a story. Sparks reluctantly agrees and allows Jib to dim the lights for atmosphere. Sparks tells Croach to cuff Jib, and as Croach suggests that JIb could shape-shift out of them, Jib promises he will not.

He announces that one of his hypercattle was rustled, and Cupid describes the rustlers as mutants, specifically Los Banditos Mutantes. Meanwhile, Los Banditos Mutantes talk about the selling the hypercow they stole from Felton to start their large investment scheme. They plan on selling the hypercattle for partial ownership of a supercow, in short, Cow Flipping. They are about to re-brand the hypercow with a new brand, but they argue about the font. - 2011–Podcast EpisodeSparks and Ginny enter the Space Saloon. Ginny asks the Doors to call her Ginny, and the Doors refuses. Ginny says she understands, as the Doors' history with troubleshooters isn't great, though now Saloon AI is considered good tech. The Doors, happy to hear this, thanks Ginny and calls her by name. Sparks mentions that he and Ginny are there to meet Croach and Red for a double date, and the Doors are surprised to hear Croach and Red are now together romantically. She admits she again has feelings for Croach, but she recognizes them for what they are and aren't, and refuses to be fixed by both Ginny and the Barkeep. Croach arrives, then states that Red isn't there as she's helping Pemily Stallwark and Dolores County return Chesh Glutterfane to custody after he escaped while being transported to maximum security prison. Sparks says he and Croach won't go to assist unless they call for help. Instead, they order drinks from The Barkeep. The space rotguts that Sparks and Ginny order come with flowers in the glass. The Barkeep says that the flowers come from Mindua, tended to by artisan Minduan gardeners. Sparks notes that there's no intelligent life on Mindua, and the Barkeep admits that life evolved on Mindua after he was there practicing using The Force Galactic and "nudged" intelligent life, while he was busying "tidying up." Sparks and Croach protest that that's against the natural order of the universe and had to break several space laws. Nonetheless, Sparks and Ginny agree that the Minduan flowers in the glass made the rotgut tidy. Sparks notes that Barkeep has been using his space powers a lot more recently, and Barkeep protests that he's just been "tidying up." He says he also tidied up the Battle Lords from Fumfum-6 and their War Machines which consumed conflict for energy to Dance Machines which eat Dance which their unitards and dance belt digested for energy. Sparks, Ginny and Croach protest, but the Barkeep insists there will be no repercussions. Harold T'shar, a representative for The Galaxium arrives, and has the Barkeep take a walk with him outside. He explains that when V'stalu of the Galaxium imbued him with The Force Galactic, it was a fluke, he wasn't supposed to keep the powers, the powers are not a toy. The Galaxium has seen all of the things the Barkeep has been doing lately and protest. Harold points out that in addition to changing the Battle Lords, he's also been creating many parallel universes where he changes things about his friends, including their genders, choices, and relationships, including a universe where they're all friends in high school, and writes about them to cure his writer's block. Harold says that all of this abusing of his power is causing The Galaxium to take The Force Galactic from the Barkeep. He's also there to let them know that there is a planet-consuming entity, who is also imbued with the Force Galactic, Keith Gonzalez, The Worldivore, heading towards Mars. Sparks and Harold take a walk outside to talk. Sparks asks if Keith is so powerful that only another person with The Force Galactic can stop him. Keith, who used to be a representative of the Galaxium, embezzled Galaxium energy. Sparks asks if someone else can have Barkeep's powers to stop Keith, and Harold says that's the other reason he's here -- to imbue one of the great heroes of Mars with the powers to save the planet. All of the heroes, save Red, are assembled -- Sparks, Croach, and Ginny, who Harold says the Galaxium counts as she's saved the universe more than anyone else present. The Barkeep uses The Force Galactic to switch his consciousness with Red, so she has a say in the proceedings. Croach insists that the Force Galactic should go to Red, who in turns insists that Croach should get the powers as he learned heroism from her. Ginny then says that Sparks should be imbued. And Sparks agrees. Red, Croach and even Ginny boggle at Sparks' audacity, but Sparks insists that he's correct and he's just respecting Ginny's opinion, though Croach and Red try to nudge him to see how he might be hurting Ginny's feelings. Keith Gonzalez then arrives above Mars, and Sparks reluctantly says to give the powers to Ginny, who refuses as she knows he's saying it reluctantly. Sparks says he's just going to go outside and fix the situation with or without powers, and hopes Ginny follows him. The Barkeep switches his consciousness back to his own body, and says he went and fixed the problem while the others were hashing things out. Keith isn't such a bad guy, he was there to talk to Barkeep. He didn't embezzle his powers, it was accidental absorbing. Keith only eats unpopulated planets and almost accidentally ate a planet Barkeep populated. Barkeep took Keith's Force Galactic, and returned Keith to Earth, where he belongs. He asks Harold to take his powers, and Harold notes that real heroes always ask for the powers to be removed after the threat has passed. Sparks says that Barkeep must be heroic after all, then Harold takes both his powers and Keith's from Barkeep. Sparks notes that by nearly keeping Keith's powers, Barkeep isn't so heroic after all, but neither was he himself, he was too caught up in trying to save the day to pay mind to Ginny's feelings, and Ginny forgives him for his imperfections. Sparks, Ginny, and Croach leave to the Earth's Moon to help Red, Pemily and Dolores for their double date.
