Her friends Seiji, Junpei, Danbei and others will help her.

Remorseful, Ludivine gets her parents to take Delphin in their care. She makes sure the house is nice and tidy. Delphin and Ludivine grow to love each other and eventually get engaged. But father Bucaille, a drunk, wants Ludivine to marry Lauderin, the owner of a bar. Ludivine, in a moment of jealousy, thinking that Delphin has cheated on her, accepts. As Delpin plans on leaving the country the day after the engagement, Ludivine takes a boat to meet him. Lauderin sneaks into the boat and, as a storm hits it, he attempts to rape her. Delphin comes to the rescue. The two lovers can now unite.

However, when Mr. Brandstetter surprises his chauffeur speaking too casually with his wife, not knowing that he is actually her brother-in-law, gets the wrong idea and Annie, upset with the whole thing, goes back to her mother's. Brandstetter decides to drown his sorrow and goes out to a party where, by chance, he meets Amelie and Martha. When Franz sees his girlfriend with his boss, he too gets upset. Annie and Martha are soon joined by Amelie at their mother's because she also left her husband who, it turns out, was unfaithful. The next day, Brandstetter comes back to the janitor's building where everything is explained. He embraces his new family. Franz and Martha make up and Amelie also finds happiness with Emil the bartender, an old flame of hers whom she always loved.

And when the actual Jim comes along, she locks him up in a closet. Maurice will fight bravely to win the fight and his girl.

Dr. Santro, Murdoch's accomplice is the culprit. He and his wife Tharen leave the two in the hands of angry Tibetans. The two lovers are locked into a box with only a tiny hole in it through which they can see some food that is out of their reach. As if that wasn't enough suffering, one of the abductor decides to shoot them through the box. George miraculously opens the box with a rock he had picked up before. As he tries to capture two horses, June is taken away in the desert by a Tibetan. George follows the traces left by his horse and rescues June in time. They fly back to Professor Elliott's. He is perfecting an invention: a fire ray which Murdock and Santro try to steal, thus setting a fire in the country. After several attacks, the Professor wants to send his daughter safely to New York with George. But Murdock follows them. George protects the building where they are staying but oversees the rooftop, where Santro attacks with a plane. Santro, Murdock et Tharen steal the Professor's plans, fly back to his lab, and destroy his invention. George and a police inspector Tinguett launch a search for the plane. As they find it, they surprise Santro and Murdock having a fight during which Santro pushes Murdock into a tank. When he realizes George and the police are on his tracks, he takes the plans and escapes on his plane. June catches the plane in time, grabs the plans and throws them out the window. Santro takes her to her father's lab but she is once again rescued by George. Santro is arrested but as his wife Tharen appears, he requests to have a talk with her and uses the opportunity to disappear. George and June, aroused by curiosity, board his plane but Santro who was hiding in it, starts the engine. June accidentally triggers a torpedo stuck under the wings. George manages to untie it before it explodes. George and June fall from the plane onto a plantation of trees. Santro disappears in his plane. George and June soon recover from the fall. Upon his return at the lab, George is surprised to find Murdock there who says he is a reformed man. One month after that, Murdock and Elliott have rebuilt the device and the professor invites other scientist for a few experiments. That night June and George announce their marriage. But Santro tries to launch rockets on the lab. Murdock activates the fire ray on the plane which bursts into flames.

Even though the locals know he has never been to Africa, they keep hoping he will leave one day. After a misunderstanding, and much gossip, everyone thinks that Tartarin plans to actually take the trip. Initially reluctant, he is eventually convinced by his friend Bravida, who warns him about the growing shame the delay has caused him all across town. Tartarin meets an ex-convict on the train who calls himself a Prince and offers to travel with him to Algeria, in the hope of stealing his money with the help of a girl, Baïa. Tartarin leaves for the desert and as soon as the first lion is in sight, the "Prince" escapes with his money. Tartarin shoots the lion and gets arrested by the local police because the animal was a blind sacred lion. He is condemned to pay a fine for which he must sell his weapons since his money was stolen. He sends the lion skin to Tarascon, and after having learned the truth about Baïa and the Prince, Tartarin, feeling stupid, decides to go back home. Expecting to have to move to another town, he is surprised at the station by all the inhabitants, anxious to meet the lion killer they are so proud of.

- Bastien and Ségard decide to leave France for Canada. They wait for the departure of their ship in a hotel recommended by Hidoux, an old porter that they met at the station. They drink around town and Bastien meets Émilienne in a bar while Ségard falls in love with the hotel servant girl Thérèse. When the day of the departure comes, the ship's engine break soon after they leave the port. Forced to stay one more week in the Hotel, they find a temporary job. One night, Bastien offers Thérèse some champagne and the two end up making love on the beach. When the engine is fixed, Bastien decides to stay with Thérèse and writes a letter to Ségard about it. Ségard, disappointed, boards the ship alone.

Pancho, Maria del Carmen's fiancé, hurts Xavier, son of the rich Domingo, so he has to leave the country. Maria proposes to take care of Xavier in exchange for Pancho's freedom. Pancho reappears, ready to defy Xavier, but the two overhear a conversation and learn that Xavier's days are numbered. So he asks Pancho to elope with Maria.

That Baron, although already in a relationship with Ilona, wants that marriage and makes Franz his orderly. The Count's announcement of marriage makes Franz assault the Baron, and he is banned as a result. But Ilona has a few tricks up her sleeve.

After winning a race with one of his father's car, he soon wins the heart and the hand of Mimi.

- Jenny works in the kitchen of a luxurious hotel and is in love with Jean, the charming headwaiter. But the latter has his eyes on Lola, the hotel dancer, who is kept by a senile millionaire. Jenny manages to get Jean to come see her and stupidly steals a champagne bottle for the occasion. When someone rats her out, she escapes through the corridors aimlessly and ends up in the dining room where, through the whim of a rich foreigner, she has to perform a comedy act for the crowd. It is an instant success and brings her fortune. Jean will soon realize that he loved her all along.
- Ramuntcho, a young smuggler, loves Gracieuse and the two would like to get married, but Gracieuse's mother Dolorès won't hear of it. Ramuntcho goes to America to seek fortune. On his return, Ramuntcho learns that Gracieuse, forced by her mother, became a nun. He decides to take her away but when he sees her kneeling in prayer, renounces to carry out his plan and leaves.

Latham sneakily tries to sabotage the trip but Providence, in the form of an Eskimo hunter with a spike, dispenses Margaret from keeping her word. The fiancé, found at last, takes the young girl back to friendlier skies under the northern lights.
