- Inés, a devoted wife and mother, patiently suffers the ingratitude of her philandering husband Pepe Luis, who spends the household money foolishly drinking and gambling with bad company. Things turn to worse when Pepe Luis develops a relationship with Irene, an alluring cabaret performer, who is herself exploited by a pimp.

- After their successful colaboration in 1968's "T.C.B." TV special, Diana Ross and The Supremes join The Temptations one more time. This time, the two super-groups not only sing but act in some innovative musical comedy sketches based on the greatest Broadway and Hollywood music and plots. It must be noted that although both the girls and the guys are great they don't come accross as exciting as when they perform their usual Motown stuff. Temptations are particularly boring in an overlong medley from "Fiddler in the Roof" but Miss Ross, who by this time was all that Motown cared about, is extremely effective in her "Leading Lady" medley.
- In the year 1899, Soledad makes her living peddling violets in the streets of Madrid. Her life changes when she meets and falls in love with Fernando, an aristocrat who is engaged to a countess. When Fernando announces his intention to marry Soledad, the affair becomes a social scandal.

The real count is Henri, a nondescript man with a shrewd business sense. Mary Ellen pays him to carry on the masquerade of being her husband so she can get a divorce.
- 51-year-old Christer has a plastic bag hidden in the closet. Each day when his wife and daughter leave for work and school, he sets off on his bike. Sometimes he rides far, but he is always back by 4PM. He has been doing this ever since he lost his job at Balco Montering AB along with 155 other employees. At the start of his unemployment Christer rode past his old workplace every day, week after week. It had become routine after 30 years, just like everything else in his life. Things might have went on like this forever but through a mail order firm in Germany an idea has been born in Christer's head that might break the routine. That idea is hidden away in the plastic bag in his closet.
- Jimmy, a Mexican-American traveling salesman, arrives at a rural community in Mexico where he hopes to conduct business out of his trailer. Jimmy, whose real name is Joaquin Murieta, has gathered enough documentation to put the evil Don Plutarco and his accomplice in jail and take over the hacienda, lands and cattle which rightly belongs to him. Things become complicated when Jimmy meets and falls in love with Don Plutarco's daughter, the beautiful and proud Rosalia, who is engaged to wealthy rancher Felipe, a union that Don Plutarco sees as an opportunity to expand his wealth and power in the region. Will Jimmy proceed with his revenge plans which will certainly destroy the woman he loves and her family?
