- Pete, a peddler who is a cousin of Pat's, gets mixed up with two fur trappers who have murdered a government agent trying to put a stop to illegal beaver trapping.
- Badly needed funds are stolen from a school, and the evidence points to the leader of a gang that is known for rustling and robbing. However, he swears to Roy and Dale that his gang didn't steal the money, and in fact will help them find out who did do it.
- Roy is captured by the Wolf gang. However, the leader of the gang comes down with the mumps, which results in the whole gang being quarantined.
- A tyrannical Boston financier travels to Mineral City to confront his son, and inadvertently becomes enmeshed in a local jail break.
- After an outlaw gang robs City Hall of tax money, they steal Dale's wagon to make their getaway. What they don't know, however, is that they have some extra cargo--a small baby who was in the wagon when they stole it.
- Andy Norton is about to be married when he discovers that his old nemesis Craig Ormond, who Andy believes killed his father, is in town. Andy puts off the wedding until he can confront Ormond and avenge his father's murder.

- In honor of Boy's Day, the law-enforcement offices in town are turned over to students for the day, and young Bob Miner is appointed sheriff. His crooked uncle takes advantage of the situation to try to swindle an elderly rancher out of his land.
- A member of the Castle outlaw gang hears Dale say that "the key to the greatest treasure in the world is in that book". He tells the gang, which will stop at nothing to find out what book she's talking about and how to get their hands on it.
- The area is plagued by a rash of stagecoach robberies by a gang of outlaws. However, the tables are turned when the outlaws themselves are robbed of their stolen goods by someone who calls himself "The Larrabee Kid".
- An outlaw gang, headed by the sheriff's brother, is plotting to steal an old prospector's life savings.
- Sheriff Blodgett is shot while investigating a gang of rustlers. Roy gets suspicious about Deputy Morgan when it seems that Morgan is doing more to prevent the gang's capture than to help in it. Soon Roy, Dale and Pat find themselves trapped by the gang, and it seems like there's no way out.
- Dale is worried about her nephew Bob, who hero-worships a notorious gunfighter. It turns out that the gunfighter is actually fronting for a vicious gang of holdup men.
- Jerry King, an orphaned teenager, gets mixed up with outlaw leader Colt Eggers. Eggers gives Jerry the job of killing Roy. However, Roy takes the boy under his wing, and soon Jerry isn't quite sure which side of the law he wants to be on.
- Notorious outlaw The Mingo Kid overpowers Roy and changes clothes with him. Roy is then taken hostage by bandit Turk Black, who plans to use him in his robbery of the Mineral City Bank.
- Pat is notified that both he and his cousin have inherited a ranch. What they don't know is that the ranch contains some very valuable grazing land, and there are people who will stop at nothing to get it.
- A former police officer (House Peters, Jr.) who believes he has lost his nerve, teams up with Sheriff Roy to corral bandits attempting to recover buried holdup loot.
- The Paradise Valley Fur Trappers Association finds itself the victim of a rash of fur hijackings. What they don't know is that the robberies are an inside job.

- Outlaw Rod Miner comes to Mineral City, where his father owns the general store. The marshal of Silver City is on his trail, though, so after Rod ambushes the marshal, he sets out to get rid of Roy, too.

However, after several hold-ups in the area, suspicion falls on the ex-con, who is promptly thrown in jail. Roy doesn't believe the man is responsible for the robberies, though, and sets out to find the real culprit.
- After the Paradise Valley stagecoach is robbed, Roy and Dale notice how nervous the local schoolteacher seems to be. His suspicions aroused, Roy begins an investigation.

- A young man, unable to put up with his abusive father anymore, sees a reward poster for Curt Carlson, leader of the Carlson gang, and sets out after the gang. However, he's not after the reward--he wants to join the gang.
- A snooty young woman from back East arrives in town looking for her father, the mayor of nearby Red Dog. What she doesn't know is that Red Dog is a ghost town, and that her father has appointed himself "mayor" and is trying to fix it up. However, a bandit gang that sees Red Dog as the perfect hideout doesn't want anyone calling attention to it, and has plans for its new "mayor".

- A story in a local newspaper raising questions about a property sale leads Roy to investigate what may be a land racket.
- Ellen Corbin, a waitress at Dale's café, is preparing for her father's release from prison, after which he will come to Mineral City to live with her. Howewver, as soon as he arrives in town, he is paid a visit by his former partner in crime, who has plans of his own.
- Parson Loomis, transporting a payroll from the Mineral City Bank to the Hardrock Mine, is ambushed by a pair of thieves. One of them returns to Mineral City, disguising himself as "Reverend Brown", allegedly a friend of Parson Loomis'. However, Roy and other townspeople begin to suspect that "the reverend" isn't what he seems to be.
- Roy aids an undercover detective who poses as an escaped convict.
- Acting Sheriff Roy prevents Mineral City's mayor and his henchmen from framing local Indians in regard to a recent series of shootings. The shooters have been wearing ritual Indian masks, which adds further difficulty to Roy's attempts to clear his Indian blood brothers.
- A man seeks revenge against the fisherman whose testimony sent him to jail.
- An outlaw gang leader loses his prize horse that he has used to out-run many a posse. Realizing he needs his trusty steed to steal $50,000 being shipped to the local bank, he forces Roy to find his horse in a hurry.

- The O' Dell brothers are at odds, when one's outlaw gang robs Mineral City's Wells Fargo office which is managed by the other.
- A man is suspected of murdering his brother, in order to gain possession of his valuable horse.
- Ranchers are turning up dead in Lost Valley. It turns out that the local banker, a woman, is behind the killings, in order to get the ranchers' land. In the course of his investigation, Roy learns that eight-year-old Jamie Jenkins is next on the banker's list.
- The Hard Luck Insurance Company claims that it will insure a rancher for the rest of his life for just one payment. Roy suspects the company is a racket, and sets out to investigate.
- Elderly homesteaders run afoul of two itinerant prospectors, who eat them out of house and home. When one prospector turns to bank robbing to make ends meet, Roy, Dale and Pat get called into action.
- Dale is tricked by a group of con artists into signing over her ranch. The swindlers then promptly sell the ranch to a new arrival from back East who doesn't realize he's being taken, too.
- Jiggers Riley, a ten-year-old orphan taken in by his crooked uncle Jasper, is assigned by Jasper to keep Roy and Dale away from a mine that Jasper is illegally operating on government land.
- Roy discovers that fish are mysteriously vanishing from a mountain fishing preserve.
- When John Wagner returns home with his expectant wife after his father's death, he finds that the Kent's have claimed and barricaded the ranch homestead but Roy finds everything legal has been done for the Wagner homestead and helps.
- Photographer Elmer Kirby talks Pat into posing for a picture pretending to rob a stagecoach. Pat doesn't know that this picture will be the beginning of a lot of trouble for him.
- Although Lanny Gaines and his ailing father have lived in Paradise Valley for several months, none of their neighbors has stopped by to introduce themselves. One day a group of surveyors arrives at his ranch and Lanny, overjoyed to finally have some company, takes them in. What he doesn't know is that the men are not surveyors but a gang of outlaws on the run from the law.
- Roy has a conversation with the chief of the Acuna Indian tribe, who tells Roy that he believes someone is stealing silver from the mine. Not long afterwards, Roy and Dale find the body of the chief, who'd been murdered. All evidence seems to point to the owner of the local trading post.

- Roy, Dale and Pat see the ghost of the One-Arm Johnny. According to legend, whoever sees the spirit of the old miner will soon die a violent death. When ranchers who reported seeing the specter are found murdered, the Sheriff asks Roy to help with his investigation.
- A wealthy but ailing woman donates a large amount of money to build a clinic. However, the money is mistakenly given to a crook who poses as an armed guard. Roy and Dale set out to capture the robber and return the money.
- When Sheriff Blodgett suddenly disappears, a note is found that indicates the sheriff has left in shame after having taken bribes. Roy doesn't believe it, though, and sets out to find Sheriff Blodgett and clear his name.

- An outlaw gang tries to kill crusty old Granny Hobbs, a trapper, when she refuses to sell her land, but Roy stops them. The gang then plots to have Granny declared insane so they can take her property, but Granny, Roy and Dale devise a trap for them.
- Gregarious old "Doc" Stevens travels the territory in his "store on wheels". What no one knows is that his "store" is actually where he hides his transmitter so he can send information to a gang of vicious criminals.
- Dale buys a stove for her visiting nephew's room from a member of a gang in which the man's accomplices have hidden a payroll robbery which the nephew finds and judges counterfeit while the robbers try to retrieve the stove.
- Roy and Pat pose as outlaws and travel to a desert town known as a safe haven for criminals, planning to lure the outlaws out of town so the law can get at them.
- Marv Hanley, a feisty, trigger-happy sheep rancher, joins the posse out to catch his brother-in-law Dunc Wright, who has just held up a stagecoach. However, Marv isn't interested in bringing Wright to justice--he's never liked him and is using the posse as an excuse to gun him down.
- Roy, Dale and Pat assist Sheriff Blodgett investigate the murder of a carnival owner. The chief suspects are a singer and a man with a bullwhip act, both of whom were wooing the carnival owner's daughter.

- Roy investigates the local miser's claims that someone is breaking into his remote cabin but not stealing anything. Roy tries to convince the old man to come into town and bring any money he has hidden with him, but his advice is rejected with disastrous results.
- A shooting occurs when three outlaws try kidnapping the governor during a Mineral City Frontier Days celebration. Dusty Rogers makes a cameo appearance as boy with bow and arrow.
- When homesteader Frank Stewart is found shot, already existing tensions explode and erupt into a feud between ranchers and farmers. Roy has to help settle the dispute and find out who really shot Stewart.
- An elderly old man with diabetes is kidnapped by an employee and his gang, who plan to hold him for ransom. Roy and Dale must find the man and give him the insulin injection he needs before he dies from insulin shock.
- A young man has been wrongly accused of murdering his fiancé's father. Dale helps him to escape from jail so they can prove his innocence.
- Two men arrive in Mineral City with a plan--they know that the teller at the bank once served time in prison for killing a man, and they threaten to expose his past unless he helps them rob the bank.
