- After Lara risks her life to save thrill seekers from a flooded stormwater drain, she is taunted by an adrenaline junkie with a series of deadly stunts.
- The final four pairs of contestants face their fears on the high wire relay, then the next day, they meet host Shura Taft near Mount Victoria, in another part of the Blue Mountains, for their next challenge, where they are divided into two teams of six that start at opposite ends of a track and are given 90 minutes to carry heavy bags of money to meet each other somewhere in the middle of the track in order to win the money that is in their bags for the pot, a challenge that will see personalities grate and egos clash. The following evening, they travel to Middle Head in the Sydney Harbour National Park for a challenge that will see them sleeping under the stars and also conducting a hunt around a maze of military forts for twelve hidden keys that open chests providing some essential and some luxury items for the group to use during their overnight camp, with each chest also costing the group some money from the pot.
- The morning after their night under the stars, the contestants take part in a quick challenge that tests their frayed minds, before they return to the campsite to face one final challenge that puts their trust to the test, with an exemption up for grabs. They then face their biggest fear yet, and one that will test friendships and rattle nerves, when they each have to answer twenty multiple-choice questions about the Mole's identity and movements, with the person who achieves the lowest score in the quiz being the first to be terminated.
- The eleven remaining contestants are divided into three teams. One team is sent to three locations along the headland near Middle Head with the job of visually communicating clues to another team in a speedboat on Sydney Harbour, while the final team have to decipher the clues that the team in the speedboat have written. They then travel to Melbourne, where their abilities to communicate are again put to the test when they are divided into two teams guided by a navigator, and each have to search buildings in the city for clues that will lead them to Shura's location. A surprise awaits the contestants when they have to sit another quiz, resulting in the contestant who receives the lowest score becoming the second to be terminated.
