Uzice Republic lasted only 67 days, from 24 September to 29 November 1941, when a bloody and tragic battle on Kadinjaca occurred and the entire labor battalion, fell into the hands of the Wehrmacht and the Chetniks, so the partisans, supreme headquarters, and the people had to retreat to the Sandzak.
