- When the nephew and his friend of Phyllis Carter are killed in an automobile crash while under the influence of narcotics, she persuades Police Lieutenant Jim Hahan to use her as an undercover agent, despite the fact she is married and has a young son. She is trained to impersonate "Lynn Stuart", who did time for a bank hold-up, and is given a job at a drive-in restaurant where members of a narcotics gang are known to frequent. She attracts the attention of Willie Down, a mid-level boss in the gang and begins getting information from him which she passes on to the FBI. Her husband, alarmed over the health of their son gets her to promise to quit. Willie takes her to Mexico before she can inform anyone where she is going, where he and a gang henchman murder the driver and guard of a truck transporting dope and hijack the load. Phyllis/Lynn goes to the ladies room of a service station where she scribbles their destination on a mirror using lipstick hoping to be rescued.
- California's gold dicovery in 1848 draws a "tide of empire" to the area, which becomes ripe for bandits.
- The Cisco Kid and Pancho hold up a stagecoach and kidnap Ellen Roth. They take the girl, who is wanted on a murder charge, to the mission where Padre Angelo will look after her. She tells Cisco of a mysterious Doctor Willis who called on an aged woman she had been nursing and gave her an overdose of sleeping pills. Convinced that Ellen is innocent, Cisco sets out to prove it. He goes to Bill Hastings where he makes a deal to turn Ellen in if Cisco gets part of the money Hastings will inherit when she is convicted. With Ellen safely in jail, Cisco and Pancho force the local newspaper to run a story saying that Doc Willis has been apprehended. Hastings makes another deal with Cisco to kill Ellen before she testifies against Doc.
- After being shanghaied in a plot to have him declared dead and take over his ranchero and other properties, Don Ricardo, disguised as a peon, returns to Old California, and begins the fight to reclaim what is his. With the aid of his sweetheart, Dorthea, and the mission padres, Don Ricardo succeeds.
- Learning that Chito's wealthy uncle died without a will, Tim and Chito head for California. On arrival, they quickly learn that someone is out to kill Chito, and the other heir, Chito's cousin Ramon, is wanted for a murder he did not commit. Stevens is the culprit. As executor he is selling parts of the estate and needs the heirs out of the way.
- In this Traveltalk short, preceded by Visiting Vera Cruz (1946) and followed by Looking at London (1946), the tireless James A. FitzPatrick follows the route laid out by the famous chain of 21 Spanish missions, begun in 1769 and extending northward for over 500 miles, from San Diego to Sonoma, California. He stops briefly at San Luis Rey, San Juan Capistrano (to watch the Swallows) and San Juan Bautista before heading eastward to take a look at London.
- Anita Castro is raising money for Mexican earthquake victims. Transporting valuables across the border, she is attacked by Bat and his gang. When Ed and Chito drive them off, they plan another attack.
- A spoof of Bizet's Carmen. Somewhere in Spain, a young girl gets the better of the neighborhood boys, then, dressed as a fashionable senorita, visits a club where a boy is demonstrating a tango. She joins him to the enjoyment of the spectators. In act 2, she's dressed as a matador and presents herself at the arena to General della Bambinodi Carradavadoves, a man who knows bulls. She fights one and finds that her sword isn't strong enough to stab him. In the excitement, the General falls from the stands, and he and the child must face the brute. Is there an escape?
- A child plays in the woods next to an isolated cabin. An exhausted Mountie faints by the cabin, and the child helps him inside to the bed. She gives him a spoonful of liniment and rubs Castor oil on his face. He awakes and tells her he's been chasing moonshiners. She vows to capture them, dons her Mountie mascot uniform, and sets out in pursuit. She gets the draw on three of them, but a fourth grabs her. She continues to follow them past Moonshine River to the moonshiners' hideout. She loses her uniform and is lassoed by the ringleader. A Mountie should always get her man, but is she resourceful enough to turn this into an opportunity?
- The Cisco Kid and Pancho stop the marriage of Rosita to Harris by claiming that Cisco is already married to her, and exhibit a borrowed child, Nancy as proof. Cisco carries off the furious Rosita, but finds, when returning Nancy, that her real father has been shot to death. Assuming responsibility for Nancy, Cisco sends her and Rosita to stay with Tia, and he visits the local padre. Harris and Conway scheme to get custody of the child, so they can obtain the money left to her by her father. As part of the plot, an actress, comes to town posing as the girl's mother, accompanied by her maid Jeanette. Rosita, jealous of the attention Cisco is paying to Jeanette, tells Harris where the child is being kept in hiding. Cisco sends Pancho to the sheriff with a message promising to give himself up for "kidnapping" Nancy if the sheriff will bring along "Mrs. Page" and Conway.
- The young authoress had come to the edge of the desert for her mother's sake. There she met the two young prospectors and a romance began. But the men were about to go across the desert, where they had heard rumors of gold. They decided to play square and before going determined to let the coin decide who should ask the young authoress the all-important question. The flip of the coin decided the older should try his luck first. He learned the girl did not love him. But the other she promised to marry when he should return from the gold lands, and the care of her sick mother, who would then be restored to health, should no longer interfere with her happiness. The young partners soon reached the other side of the desert, where success came to them far beyond their expectations. The girl, however, had met with sorrow on the passing of her mother. The two young men decided to return, but on their journey across the desert the younger fell over a precipice and broke his leg. The water supply gave out and while the older sought water on the desert he himself fell exhausted with thirst. He was found, however, and restored. In like manner the younger partner fell into the hands of friendly but ignorant Indians, who took him to their camp, where through their crude nursing fever set in. His own health restored, the partner sought him, but found him gone. Then came the temptation not to continue the search. He thought of the woman at home and the advantage he might take. He returned and told her the other was dead. At first she could not believe him, but on the persistent urging of the man she gave in. Thus came their stolen happiness in the joy of a child that was to come, but the younger partner, restored after several months, decided to return. He appeared outside of the cabin and would have gone away on the other's explanation had not the woman heard his voice and come out. He was able to forgive, but the woman told her husband she could have nothing more to do with him after this deception. There was only one thing for her to do, to wait until after the birth of the baby; then the baby came. Her trunk was packed and about to be taken away when she saw the baby lying in the father's arms. Then her mother heart repented and she stayed.
- In 1840, while California is ruled by Mexico, American settlers are in constant danger from Mexican marauders. After a band of Mexican soldiers led by American renegade George Granville kill the parents of Leonardo Davis, he vows vengeance and begins a career as a masked highwayman who terrorizes the Mexican offenders. Because Leonardo gives his plunder to those Americans who have been robbed, and he protects the women, children, poor, and helpless from attacks, he becomes known as "Captain Courtesy." At the San Fernando Mission, Leonardo falls in love with Eleanor, the orphaned ward of Father Reinaldo. For Eleanor's sake, Leonard renounces his mission of vengeance and joins the California Riflemen. When Granville learns about a cache of gold hidden at the Mission, he organizes an attack. Leonardo crashes through the stained glass window on his horse and rides to General Stephen Kearny's troops encamped in Los Angeles, who then rout the Mexicans. When Granville boldly admits that he slew the Davises, Leonardo fights him, but Eleanor persuades him to spare Granville's life.
- SAMURAI BALLET finds Alexander Hell, played by International Action Star and Martial Arts Master Scott Shaw, teaming up with the ancient Samurai, Lord Kaga, in quest of Hell's love, Kala, who has been kidnapped and taken into the dark abyss by the evil Warlord. Part Martial Art Film. Part Cinematic Fantasy. Filmed entirely on Super 8 Film. This is a rare piece of Scott Shaw's filmmaking history that was previously only released in Hong Kong.
- A lone miner and his daughter make the journey to California by prairie schooner.
- Anita, a Mexican girl, falls in love with John Gordon, an American mine superintendent hated by her brother Pedro. Pedro plans Gordon's assassination. Anita conceals in her clothing a black bean, and feigning that Gordon has done her wrong, goes to her brother and begs to be allowed to kill the American. As she has expected, Pedro tells her that the assassin will be chosen by lot, and then he passes round a hat full of beans, all of which are white save one, which is black. Anita surreptitiously takes the black bean out of her waist and the duty of planting the bomb which is to destroy her lover is accorded to her. After she disguises herself as a man and rides off, Pedro discovers the black bean left in the hat. Suspicious of Anita, he follows her on horseback. She does her best to evade him, but is caught and forced to plant the bomb, but she has secretly removed the fuse. Meanwhile Gordon finds the unexploded bomb, and looking for its thrower, he sees Anita struggling with Pedro in the distance. Gordon arrives just in time to save the girl's life, and the brother and his horse, falling over the cliff, are killed.
- A pilgrim journeys along California's Highway 101 visiting the historic Spanish missions, glimpsing these spiritual landmarks during a time of high secularism. He finds that these missions are the integral piece to the formation of California identity.
- Sydney and Dixon are sent on a dangerous case involving the safety of the United Commerce Organization. Francie gets suspicious about Charlie and spies on him. Meanwhile, Will continues to investigate the truth about Danny's murder.
- On Thanksgiving, Buffy encounters the spirit of a Native American warrior whose people were wiped out by settlers.
- Due to a police strike, Getraer asks Ponch and Jon to work in Palma Vista. There they meet a beautiful female race car driver, Candi Wright. She finds a traumatized little girl at a fire who won't tell them who she is or where she's from.
- Friday and Gannon investigate the theft of a statue of the baby Jesus from a church's nativity scene on Christmas Eve. The figure itself has little monetary value. Father Xavier Rojas explains this Jesus statue has been at the church for decades and has great sentimental value to the parishioners. The detectives pursue a lead but come up empty. As they return to Father Rojas, a small boy is pulling a wagon with the statue in it. The boy had prayed for a new wagon and promised the baby Jesus the first ride if he received it. The episode is a remake of "The Big Little Baby Jesus" from the original series, with three cast members (in addition to Jack Webb) reprising their original roles.
- When Kit comes to Tony's defense, the gesture proves worthless. Tony's trial proceeds as if D.A. Wilkinson had scripted it, until Kit arrives at the courtroom. After Chase uncovers evidence that Melissa had engineered the botched paternity test, he is too late to intercept her due to Angela's threats. Chao-Li loses face because Angela and Lance stay up all night to take care of him. After Chase and Maggie decide on a quick divorce, Richard sees his chance for happiness.
- Despite Angela marrying Peter, she learns he took her $30 million to prevent her for being prosecuted for arranging the hijacked Chase's wine. Angela puts herself away, who still must serve time in jail, until the $50,000 bail can be paid. While Jordan offers Maggie some professional help for her problems, Jeff's appearances in Tuscany Valley annoys her. Angela learns that Peter has made her Richard's partner in Tuscany Downs. Not only Angela is shocked to hear that Dwayne had moved into her house; but also to find that Lance and Jordan are sleeping together.
- A man who just arrived from out of town gets in a cab and gets into an accident; one of his bags contains a lot of money. Sam and Jim investigate by first talking to the man's wife, who says she knows nothing. Later, someone attacks her but Sam and Jim save her. Sam assumes that her husband owes money to some people and they offered to forget the debt if he delivers the money to them. They call the wife and tell her to bring the money, and because they know who she is, they can't put a policewoman in her place so they must let her go and figure out a way to protect her.
- A collection of diamonds is stolen from a Foundation sponsored charity auction. Michael and Kitt follow one of the thieves to the Monestary of the Grape in Napa. Here a plastic surgeon is providing criminals with new faces for a percentage of their takings.
- A con man schemes to get his gold past the custom's agents by using a pair of traveling nuns. A young married couple consider separating. A mysterious stranger seems to be able to help people at just the right moment.
- Gwen and Jack disagree about how to handle the situation after word of Heather's embezzlement gets out. Gwen has Heather arrested in the middle of a party, but she is quickly released. Heather begins suffering nightmares about her childhood. Gwen is furious to see Jack consoling her. Samantha refuses to move in with Peter because it goes against her religious beliefs. He eventually proposes, but Maureen reappears with more blackmail demands. Jenny tries to keep Laurie away from David by setting her up with someone else. Gwen tells them that she is tired of serving as their referee. Ethan catches Faith kissing another guy. Scott becomes attracted to a woman who works for the aviation division's chief competitor. He fears that she stole information from him.
- Dr. Howard Graham, a private citizen and leading scientist, is recruited by SEC, the Special Executive Coordination unit of the U.S. espionage apparatus, for a mission to Central America. With the help of SEC Agent Jan Craig, he must try to verify information about a missile guidance system, reportedly developed by German scientists working in Egypt.
