Curious to find no review anywhere of this film even though it appears on IMDB in three different places (under its French title, under its Dutch title and under the title by which it was known in the US - His Windmill). It is a small masterpiece by one of the most unusual and eccentric French directors of the period, quite shocking to watch even today and one of the finest short films of 1912. It was made by Machin for Pathé's new Dutch subsidiary, Hollandische Film, which he had been sent to set up, which is why it appears in both languages. It has a Dutch cast and actually came out in the Netherlands before it appeared in France.
