The 38 Year Old D.W. Griffith
Single-Black-Male27 October 2003
The mere fact that Griffith adapted Jack London's novel into this 17 minute two-reeler film gives testimony to the fact that he was now prioritizing his scripts and story development. It is as though he made the transformation from being Charles Chaplin in 1908 to Cecil B. DeMille in 1913.
