- Jeffrey Claiborne (William Russell), the son of a millionaire, finds that doing nothing is the toughest kind of a job. Having learned something about motor cars by driving a racing machine, he decides he can "chauff," and that is the kind of a job "with a kick in it," that he is after. Fate speeds him into the job through his rescue of the girl, and what happens to him then in the way of "kick," is a plenty. Certainly he wins the girl, but it would be unfair to tell how.
