Final film of Mary Miles Minter who retired from the screen shortly after the film's release. Minter began her career as child actress on the stage and became a popular (and highly paid) screen actress during the late 1910s. Her career was effectively over at the age of 21 due to speculation of her (and her domineering mother's) involvement in the still officially unsolved murder of director William Desmond Taylor in February 1922
The reason that it was Mary Minter last movie was because it was found out that she had sexual relationship with William Desmond Taylor since she was 17, so she was forced to stop acting in movies.
