The castle hasn't been visited for years, yet it is set up for immediate occupancy, including, presumably, food in the kitchen; however, it is unknown how many days have passed since Bill devised the idea of turning his castle into a haunted house entertainment. If there was enough time to hook up the rooms with sound equipment, there should easily have been enough time to stock the kitchen. Who's to say how long it would take to sweep out the guest bedrooms for habitation?
The number of survivors written with chalk on the wall changes from 7 to 6 while the murderer is alone in the room with another survivor.
Upon arriving at the Island Castle, the group of treasure seekers walk from the foyer to the study. A very visible crew member is in frame holding a spotlight on lead man Dick Foran. As the camera pans right, the crew member turns and walks out of frame.
Though the Phantom has never been in the castle before, he seems to have a detailed knowledge of the house's layout with all its secret rooms and passages.
