Violence & Gore

  • This film is quite violent for an old Superman cartoon which is approved for families.

  • There is a kinda violent gunfight at the bridge to an airport. Several people are hit, but we see no blood and death.
  • A woman is almost shot by some people.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Not to count the opening credits and Superman's introduction, this film starts at a drug store. But nothing is taken.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Along with the amount of gunfights, a woman falls on the turning mechanism of a bridge, and becomes unconscious for a while when the massive gear in the turning mechanism is slowly creeping up on her.
  • Despite this Superman cartoon being meant to be watched by families, the amount of violence may be kinda intense for very young children.
