According to his daughter, Victoria, The Eve of St. Mark (1944) was one of Vincent Price's personal favorites of his film performances.
Michael O'Shea, Stanley Prager, George Mathews, Joann Dolan, Joven E. Rola and Toni Favor all reprised their original stage roles in the film.
The title refers to an old superstition that those sitting in church of the Eve of St. Mark's Feast Day (April 24) will see ghostly images of all who will die during the coming year.
