When the floor buffer is shown going though the sweet shop window, from inside there is no sign painted on the glass (there is no glass, either), but the shot from outside shows the sign and the broken glass.
Right after the race announcer states that there are eight cars in the race for ten laps (seven cars for sure discounting Slip Mahoney's Meteor #13), a quick count of the cars entering the track shows there are actually eleven in the race. After Slip (Leo Gorcey) runs into a wall with his jalopy, four other cars flip over, one other is disabled, and three collide all at once slamming into a wall. That would be eight right there, but then, a view of discontented drivers about to chase Sach on the race track shows eight cars stranded together on the track.
The Louie's Sweet Shop ad on the back of Mahoney's Meteor (the jalopy) incorrectly spells Louie's last name as "Dumbroski" when it should be Dumbrowski.
Although set in New York, at the race track you can see palm trees and the famous LA landmark the Griffith Observatory in the background, and the ads feature business in Los Angeles, Venice, and Culver City.
