The segment where there was a western on every channel of one guy's TV proved to be not far from the truth. By the late 1950s, there were no fewer than 30 different westerns playing on the three major networks during prime time hours.
A live broadcast from Mars would become reality later in the 20th century.
The early TV broadcasts were distorted by airplanes, as shown, but also by newly built tall buildings in previously flat suburban and rural areas. Other issues included distortion from complex patterns (clothing, etc).
TV antennas have all but disappeared in the 21st century.
