    Carol Marvin : [standing by the surf, staring into Russ' eyes]  ... and not in such a nice world. I'm glad it's still here.

    Dr. Russell A. Marvin : It's still ours.

    [they stare into the horizon then walk into the surf] 

  • Dr. Russell A. Marvin : I always thought it was St. Elmo's Fire. I'll have to change my mind about that.

  • Dr. Russell A. Marvin : It's only a hollow steel ball, but for our purposes, it's a flying saucer.
