The songs on Napoleon's jukebox are:
- "St. Louis XIV Blues": Duc d'Ellington
- "Bastile Boogie" - Count d'Basie
- "III Coins in the Fontanbleu": No artist listed, since the title just filled up the slip! (This is the one Bugs, a.k.a. "Josephine", plays on the jukebox)
- "I Ain't Got No Body": The Guillotiners (Bugs didn't read off this one).
Two novelty songs would later discuss the fate of the Napoleon wannabe in this episode. The first was "They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha Ha!" by Napoleon XIV. This was followed by Josephine XV's "Im Happy They Took You Away, Ha Ha!" Both were released in 1966.
The large guard sounds like an early version of Barney Rubble. This is not surprising, as Mel Blanc voiced that character a few years later. Blanc truly was a man of a thousand voices.
Napoleon quotes a famous old Scottish folk song, "The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond."
Napoleon takes a pinch of snuff with no ill effect. Not so poor Bugs, who sneezes. Snuff was a popular way on enjoying tobacco in Napoleon's vera; it consisted of finely powdered tobacco leaves.
