Cheap n cheery space thrills

Apparently Super Giant (Starman in the dubbed version) was a Japanese Superman, sent from a galaxy far far away to save us from the evil Salamander People, who are also from another galaxy just a bit nearer than the one Starman hails from. Starman may be 'harder than steel', but his costume is decidedly low tech, consisting of what appears to be a speed skater's outfit with added cape. The evil Salamander People do battle by floor exercise, apparently, as they backflip their way to victory. They also perform some rather pretentious dance pieces that seem designed to bore Earth people to death. Turn off the old mind, relax, and float into the boob tube for this lobotomised Saturday matinee delight.

At the end of WW2,the japanese filmakers searcing a new hero, something indestructible for the youth and for serve an inspiration:Spaceman coming in this way.The film is not a success but some scenics are very impressive for this kind of very low budget film. A scenic is very particular is this one were we seen Spaceman wearing with terrian clothes walking toward a gangster firing.Spaceman take his Colt 45,after the last shoot and pry it,then he give the broken colt to a child who want to know his name.Spaceman,I am,he told,and...after this go flying like Superman. Before Ultraman,Spaceman was the japanese Superman. With a good budget and the same ideas...it will be a success!!!
