Woody hides in a locker to avoid Olive. Afterwards, Calvin must open the padlock to let Woody out. However, Calvin was walking away as Woody got into the locker and was talking to Julie Ann and Olive until they left. Nobody ever locked the locker Woody was in.
Late in the basketball game, a player comes out of it and sits on the bench while a substitute goes in. A shot from behind the cheerleaders shows this player on the bench wiping his sweaty head with a towel. The referee blows the whistle ending the time-out. In the very next shot, the player who was just seen on the bench takes the inbounds pass on the court. The player who substituted in for him is also on the court. No other substitutions were shown and the action described above was presented as continuous, not a time-jump edit. This also, of course, means that a player who was previously on the court, and who wasn't shown coming to the bench, suddenly disappears. The topper is that the player who magically transported off the bench helps an injured teammate off the floor and the next shot (also in continuous action) shows him still sitting on the bench. Bonus: when Calvin takes to the court, the same player (who sat on the bench next to Calvin) is again back in the game.
There is a time-out after Temple scores their final basket. No matter which team called it, it should have been Park Central's ball, but when the game resumes, Temple is shown inbounding the ball. Par for the course in what may be the least authentic basketball game in cinema history.
In the basketball game, both teams are shooting at the same basket, probably to reduce the number of camera setups (less costly).
The referee missed a blatant foul when Joe is pushed into the back wall by two opposing players after making an easy layup. Joe (or a substitute) should have had a free throw to try to tie the game.
