Circa 1010 BCE, the ageing King David, the ruler of Israel, has a vision from God telling him that his kingdom will be more prosperous and happy when governed by peace rather than war. As a result, he favours Solomon, a wise and peaceful man, instead of his elder son, Prince Adonijah, a great warlord, to succeed him. However, the belligerent neighbour, the Egyptian Pharaoh Siamun, plots to annihilate him and sends the seductive Queen of Sheba to undermine Solomon's rule. As deceit turns into love, Solomon and Sheba will have to pick sides.
