Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Mild references to drinking together, a few characters spend time at a bar but don't get drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The villain of the film, Max Cady, may be extremely unsettling to viewers in how he uses his legal knowledge to avoid justice while terrorizing the Bowden family throughout.
  • There are a bit of intense scenes like a guy chasing a girl, a guy repeatedly tries drowning a guy or two (I he actually succeeds in one), and lots of other intense scenes as a guy who was in jail for 8 years is now after the family of the dad who put him in there.
