At the end of the Daytona race, both drivers swerve around crashed 1950s cars. But the main race shots were filmed in the mid-1960s with no older cars in any footage. Then Leander Fox's car, which was a mid-1960s blue and white Plymouth, becomes an early 1960s car in monotone blue as he crashes over the guardrail.
During Joey's nighttime moonshine run, there is one long shot where it is not dark' i.e., not nighttime.
When Leander's fan girls surround him at the carnival for an autograph, the three girls with their backs to the camera have blue, orange and green slacks on respectively. The camera immediately pans out and the three with their backs to the camera are now wearing orange, green and green slacks respectively.
In shots of both Dave Owens and Leander Fox leaving the pit stop, they show a shot of the driver's feet working the clutch pedal. The pedals go down through the floor. Mid-1960s cars' pedals went up under the dash.
