- A couple lie on the courtyard grass, talk and kiss (romantically) for around one or two minutes.
- A cardinal is seen with a woman sleeping next to him. Implied breakage of celibacy.
- The king is seen with Anne Boleyn in bed embracing each other, but covered by the sheets. Nothing happens, but sex is implied before or after that scene.
- The plot is based on real facts. So it's about a king that has two main aspirations: "marry" the woman he was in love with when he was tired of the previous one, and having a male heir. As to this, there are some conversations about with mild sexual content (three or four, but generally brief, along the movie).
