Sex & Nudity

  • In one scene, a woman starts to masturbate a man off screen. And in another scene, an adult woman unbuttons her shirt and an adult man is scene suckling her breast, but no nudity is shown.
  • Frank is seen walking naked out of the bedroom with his clothes held over his crotch.
  • Full frontal female nudity in three scenes, two of which are recently deceased women, and the camera lingers a bit on the bodies.

Violence & Gore

  • A real baboon is seen in two scenes, one where it's lying on a table being injected with a needle, and another where it's hanging from a sealing.
  • Anna's corpse is graphically embalmed. She is disemboweled, with closeups of her raw, bloody innards. Her heart is cut out and bitten into, spewing blood. Her body fluids are drained out through hoses stuck up her nose. Her eyes are then gouged out and replaced with glass eyes.
  • Jan's fingernails are torn off with pliers, and she faints from the pain. She is then stripped and her arms, legs and head are graphically hacked off with a meat cleaver. Her body is dissolved in an acid bath, and the floor is seen covered in blood and gore.
  • A woman's throat is bitten and torn out, and blood flows out of the wound. Her body is then placed in a large furnace where she is set aflame. She twitches and shakes as flames run across her body.
  • A man and woman are having a violent fight. The man is stabbed in the crotch, and his eye is gouged out. The woman's cheek is torn after being bitten, and then she is stabbed to death by a large knife.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some drinking, but very little.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film has a very sleazy, nasty, and bizarre atmosphere. There are no light moments in the film, its all very downbeat. There are only a few scenes of violence but they are very graphic. The effects aren't always convincing but the scenes are still intense. Not for those easily sickened/disturbed.
