- Originally the film was called Campus King in certain countries, and came with alternative intro music, a keyboard based instrumental, rather than Penny Alemian's better-known title song.
- A key sequence from the ambulance scene was shown in the original drive-in release but cut from the US video version: When the ambulance attendant stares into the back of the ambulance, there is an abrupt cut, then he stares forward again. What was cut out was Babette getting romantically entangled with Fred's erection (medically known as "penis captivus") and the bumpy ambulance ride made them appear, to the ambulance attendant, to be having sex. That was the whole basis of the joke. This scene is shown in the UK video version.
- When Gross-Out walks into the bathroom during a frat party, the US video version is missing the part where he walks past a couple having sex in the bathtub. This scene is left intact on the UK video version and probably was also in the original drive-in release.
