- It can be unpleasant for people who like dogs to imagine the main character flowing electricity to his dog and making it a monster.
- The whole short has a dark, eerie feeling (part of the style of filming Tim Burton uses in his films), which is quite scary and some people might find disturbing. The ending is the most frightening part of this short.
