The wait is finally over for fans of MTV’s competition show, The Challenge, and its All Stars spinoff shows!
The Challenge: All Stars 4 has an official release date, a cast reveal, photos, and a trailer highlighting what’s coming in the episodes.
Power couple Kam Williams and Leroy Garrett lead the returning cast members for the fourth installment of the Paramount+ spinoff.
They’ll reunite as castmates for the new season after viewers saw them together for Double Agents, which Leroy indicated would be his final season of the show.
He and Kam started their life and family together away from the show, including moving to a new city, having a son, and now expecting a second child.
Other familiar faces for All Stars 4 include former finalist Tony Raines and show winners Laurel Stucky and Cara Maria Sorbello, whom Challenge fans saw briefly on MTV’s Battle For a New Season.

Dystopia! What a place to be. Well, except when people are mulched to feed an over populated society (Soylent Green) or killed at the age of 30 to control it (Logan’s Run); and in the case of Turkey Shoot (1982), hunted for sport by society’s elite. Come to think of it, Dystopia is kind of a bummer.
Released in its native Australia in October, Turkey Shoot wouldn’t see the light of day in the U.S. until September of ’83 under the title Escape 2000. Both titles work; the former playing into the more lurid elements, while the latter highlights the cut rate sci-fi angle. And it’s the swirling combination of the two that gives this sucker its punch. Turkey Shoot is A class exploitation with a down under smile.

Prolific screenwriter Everett De Roche, who died in Melbourne yesterday, was one of the instigators of the Ozploitation genre movement of the 1970s and 80s.
The Us-born writer, who migrated to Australia with his wife in 1968, was 67. He had battled with cancer for three years. He started as an in-house writer for Crawfords for four years in the 1970s, penning episodes of Homicide, Division 4, Ryan and Matlock Police.
His first feature screenplay was Colin Eggleston.s Long Weekend in 1978. Among his film credits were Richard Franklin.s Patrick (1978), Simon Wincer.s Harlequin (1980), Franklin.s Roadgames (1981), David Hemmings. Race to the Yankee Zephyr (1981), Russell Mulcahy.s Razorback (1984) and Franklin.s Visitors (2003).
In 2008 he and director Jamie Blanks collaborated on a remake of Long Weekend, for which he added two characters, a baby dugong and several scenes. "The basic environmental message works as well today as it did in 1978," he said.

At ABC‘s upfront, there were a few things that the network wanted to make sure you knew. 1) They are really impressed with the idea that people are going to watch Rebel Wilson do just about anything, and 2) There isn’t anything they’re happier about than bringing you more episodes of television created by Shonda Rhimes.
On these notes, the network would love for you to know that more Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal are coming your way. These, ABC would like to impress upon you (as advertisers) are really good shows. Because… hellllooo… so many people watch them that we’re bringing them back. But wait, don’t think that you’re as excited as you can get yet, because if those are your favorite shows, then we have a new one for you to fall in love with, Betrayal.
Also on the agenda, and actually looking like they might be interesting,...

Issue #7 of Lunchmeat is now on sale via The Meat Market, and rather than do a typical review, we thought we'd post this post-mortem and include a look at a few pages from it. Check it out!
Hey, all you tape-heads out there riding the digital waves—Lunchmeat 7 has hit the savage streets featuring more “Blood! Terror! Babes! Monsters!” With its glossy slick and sick four-color cover and rock 'n roll junk zine interior, editor-in-chief Josh Schafer has concocted another delightful collection of analog things from genres past, forever exploring the landscape of the ravenous revival of VHS.
This issue is filled with reviews of flicks not available yet on DVD or Blu-ray, highlights of which include Tombstone Territory, The Shout, Madhouse Mansion, and Project Nightmare, none of which I remember ever renting in my VHS youth at Video Video or Video Magic in Old Bridge, NJ. But that’s...

Snakes On A Plane director David R Ellis turns his attention to the ocean for Shark Knight 3D. Here's Ron's review of this toothsome horror thriller...
The weather’s starting to get a little bit cooler, school is back in session for everyone of school age, and the last official day of summer is probably happening now while you’re reading this. It’s Labor Day weekend here in the States, and that means we get one last good day of summer fun, frolic, grilling out, and spending time with our families and friends before winter comes. For a group of college friends, this Labor Day might be their last.
Sara (Sara Paxton) has graciously invited her college friends Nick (Dustin Milligan), Beth (Katharine McPhee), Blake (Chris Zylka), Maya (Alyssa Diaz), Gordon (Joel David Moore), and Malik (Sinqua Walls) back to her family’s home in the middle of a lake in Louisiana bayou country.

It’s no secret Brian Trenchard-Smith is my favorite director. From the first time I saw the Henry Thomas versus the quarry monster film, The Quest, I was hooked. While I could go on and on about the man and his films, we are here to celebrate the upcoming release of BMX Bandits on DVD and Blu-ray from Severin Films. This marks the first Blu-ray release of a Brian Trenchard-Smith film and the first time BMX Bandits has been officially released on DVD in the United States.

Brian Trenchard-Smith is awesome. He's like the Roger Corman of Australia. Escape 2000, Dead End Drive In, Night of the Demons 2, Frog Dreaming and Stunt Rock are just a few of the many kick ass titles in his arsenal of awesome.
