Production caused producer Carlos Aured to completely retire from filmmaking. In a 1999 interview with Fangoria, Aured mentioned that he tried several times to get the filmmakers to take a more professional approach to the film, but the Spanish crew was too laid back. As a result, the film went over schedule and over budget, from which they shifted all the debts onto Aured, once filming was complete.
Richard C. Sarafian, father of director Deran Sarafian, re-dubbed over actor J.O. Bosso in post-production.
Director Deran Sarafian confirmed on the Blu-Ray commentary that the humorous undertones in the movie were intentional, and also admitted that An American Werewolf in London was the inspiration for them.
Filmed in 1984.
According to Lynn Holly-Johnson, director Deran Sarafian tried to pressure her into filming a nude shower scene in one of the RV scenes, but she refused.
