- The film isn't really that frightening, the ghoulies themselves may be frightening to a younger audience, but the last 20 minutes of the film is really intense and violent. There are also some intense murder scenes throughout the rest of the film.
- A man is almost cut in half.
- A woman almost falls off a ride.

Violence & Gore
- A giant ghoulie is seen eating the smaller ones.
- The Ghoulies are shot at or hit by humans many times. But never seem to be injured.
