  Host : No, it's not Paulie Shore; this person has talent. Brendan Frasier, as a matter of fact.

• Host : Monotremes are the lowest order of mammals. They're different from most mammals because why: "A" They have pouches, or "B" They lay eggs, or "C" They actually find Paulie Shore funny?

  Contestant : They lay eggs.

  Host : They lay eggs is right. Add $25, nicely done. They lay eggs. And... We know that "C" was a joke answer because *nobody* actually finds Paulie Shore funny, do they? Okay.

• Host : What's this about a police escort in New York City?

  Contestant : Well, we went to see visit cousin whom we hadn't seen for 28 years and he surprised us by taking us down to one of the precinct houses. And we had two police officers -- NYPD and a New York van, police van. And they said "You have these guys for the whole shift. They'll take you anywhere in Manhattan you want to go."

  Host : How did you manage that?

  Contestant : We're Italian.

  Host : Oh, all right. No need to say anything more. You know where Jimmy Hoffa's buried, do ya?

• Host : What young rap duo started a trend by wearing all their clothes backwards?

  Contestant : Criss Cross.

  Host : You're right. Criss Cross is the answer, they have added $25 to their side of the board. And, Art, probably one of your favorite groups, right?

  Contestant : Yeah. Sure, all the time I listen.

  Host : Good.

  Contestant : I like classical.

• Host : Now, Dave,

  [the father] 

  Host : I'm sure you have lots of Nirvana albums at home.

  Contestant : [dancing]  Right!

  Host : And could you name just one other cut off that album?

  Contestant : Dare.

• Host : "Ren & Stimpy" on Nickelodeon. Who's the dog? Ren or Stimpy?

  Contestant : Stimpy.

  Host : Is incorrect, it's Ren. You had a 50/50 shot, you blew it, Tom.

  Contestant : His fault!

  Host : "His fault." Oh!

  [points to team's podium] 

  Host : The grown man - the father - is blaming the son on national TV, I like that.

  Contestant : [nods, mimics hitting son over head with fist]
