So pedantic... So state-of-the-art technology ... So Greenaway!

And so good.

This is the ultimate self-explanatory presentation of a filmmaker about a film of his own (¡!), introducing video technology, making-of extracts, 1-92 numbers track-list (some of them), and Peter Greenaway's deadpan University lecturer position looking-straight-to-the-camera pedantic talking, which I absolutely adore.

There should be a special 'Drowning by numbers' DVD edition with this 25 minutes film attached. Silly of Greenaway not to have released before! PS: original title of this film is 'Fear of Drowning (by numbers)'

The recurrent usage of 'talking heads' in Greenaway films have appeared in several of his works, such as 'Dante's Inferno. Canto V', 'Tulse Luper'... I believe the same Greenaway appears in both 'Draughstman's' and 'Z.O.O.' DVD editions with an extraordinary oral preface revealing us the tricks of the plot and the images restoration.
